My theory was that people who vote just about everyone are town and those that don't are scum, but once I took a look at the votes, I realized I was completely and utterly wrong. How many people you vote is really just a nulltell playstyle.

I checked out 2 of Nikanor's games. In the scum game I looked at, Nikanor looked a little more careful than his town game that I looked at. Which makes me even MORE confused.

I'm gonna say just one thing along those lines. Consider another perspective... What if singer is scum?

I don't know why you couldn't consider that possibility this whole time. The only person who wouldn't consider that being a possibility is the person who knows it's not a possibility, right? I'm looking at both you and Nikanor because right now, I don't know that I can rule out the possibility of either of you being scum right now.

I'm going to take my time on this one, because I really want to make sure we get this right the first time, and not have to go into a tomorrow.

In case you didn't guess, my response is NO. I'm town and I'm not 100% sure that you are scum. I'd like to get it right today rather than tomorrow.

There's really no reason for even a townie to want to get lynched or be totally fine with it. On the one hand, scum's chance of winning decreases significantly when lynched, but when a townie is lynched it increases scum's chance of winning. Regardless of your alignment, getting lynched reduces your chance of winning.

So Nikanor, QUIT INVOKING WIFOM!

Anyway, I came down with strep throat as of yesterday (Thursday), so I probably shouldn't have promised more in-depth posting by tonight, as I have been extremely tired and not focusing on much lately. I've basically been in the response phase all day, and it may take me a bit to get to the analysis phase. Hopefully this weekend will be better, and by then we'll have more from jmurph (hope you're doing alright, missy).

After spending many countless hours contemplating this, since yesterday, along with another snag against him, I've come to a conclusion, and I feel this will keep the integrity of the game as it should be. You spend about a third of the day bickering amongst yourselves, when you see

talking to a corpse. Suddenly, a thundercloud appears above his head, and shocks him.

Nikanor has been smited for talking outside the game to a dead player. He was a Vanilla Townie turned Neutral Survivor

Looking in jmurph's home, you find her sleeping on the bed. After many vain attampts, you flip her over, and find that she was showing no signs of life. You also see a minor hole in her head. On her nightstand, there was a cop's badge.

I'm only sorry I hesitated between you two from the start, but at least I'll know better next time.

Nexus, as I'm sure Beefster will be voting for me as well(since I'm pretty sure even mafia realize tis unwise to try to lynch a confirmed townie on the last day, lol), you're obviously the tie-breaker vote.

That being said, I wish I could've said it was a no brainer for me from the beginning, but as time went on, and claims/innocents got confirmed, this is what I found:
1. In all of his first two pages of isos, I saw him Vote, FoS, or question everyone BUT Vamparific/Mr. Flay
-I interpret this as wanting to come across as actively scumhunting, without actually letting your scum buddy hit the radar.
2. After all that, he finally expresses shock over not being the NK, pointing out this supposed "scumhunting"
-I interpret this as fake, and since I can safely say he's scum now, only confirmed the suspicions I had expressed previously about it being scummy.
3. Doing his vote analysis, he points out that Earlder and Flay never voted each other.
-Looking into it, neither does he and Flay
EXCEPTION 1: When Flay votes for Beefster based off of posts of the beginning of the morning or D2/his reaction to Zajnet's seemingly scummy behavior do to the doc/cop claiming fiasco...looking more like a reason to bus and gain him town credits than anything else.
EXCEPTION 2: Beefster has no choice but to lynch his scum-buddy when he's outed my jmpurh.
4. Beefster's interactions with Flay (leaving Vamparific out of this for lack of overall participation) are limited, but if/when they communicate, it feels more like Flay's coaching (See his iso 14 and reactions toward Zajnet's claim for examples).
