No, seriously. What's with the fluff posting? Who's scum?silverbullet999 wrote:

Fluff tastes good? No, seriously. What's with the fluff posting?
Scum is a catch-all term for any member of an informed minority, such as Serial Killers and Mafia goons. During a day phase, everybody is seemingly trying to locate and eliminate these roles.Who's scum?
It is typical to use the word scum as an adjective or other means as well. (i.e. That's a scummish thing to do. or You are acting quite scummy.)... People were right it seems....-

TMI?
Also i'm just having a little fun for the moment and seeing how you'd react.
Not in too many games i'm only in 2... not sure how me posting (fluff or otherwise) would be a sign of me being in too many games.
Also not sure how i'm trying to get myself lynched, unless being a smart ass with you is what you would consider trying to get myself lynched... Is this true?... People were right it seems....-

TMI = Too Much Information
Well, being a smartass with me may aggravate me, but it doesn't make you scum. The fact that you're not making any effort at this point is more of an indicator to me. What did your reread of drmyshottyizsik's posts reveal to you? Who do you think is scum?
PREVIEW EDIT: LOL, really? "Baa," much?-

How is it not obvious that I'm voting him for messing around and not answering your question (and also thereby creating rifts within town, assuming you're both town)? Purposely avoiding stating scum suspects is at least anti-town. My vote isn't intended to get him lynched but to get him to actually answer.Equinox wrote:

Explain.
The fact that you switch votes so readily indicates that you really don't care if he answers or not and you're just looking for reasons to vote people. Again, anti-town, though not necessarily scummy (exasperated town tends to do this).
Specific examples please. The "claims to have reasons but doesn't" is obviously opportunistic (and can only be applied to this one vote of mine). You're following Equinox's lead precisely and not even waiting to hear what my reasons are. As I just gave my reasons, this post is now a bold-faced lie. Can't argue against "gut", but at this point, that's excuses for the weak to pretend to scumhunt. I look forward to your brilliant scumhunting posts completely free of IIoA.drmy wrote:No he just has a lot of IIoA and then claims to have reasons, but doesn't. I don't like drmy throwing out "IIoA" specifically. Main reason being, I've never seen him act in a way that appears to be coherent scumhunting. Need more reading about the taco man, but for now:

Yay to threats, I was planning to but you'll probably find some other reason to vote me anyway.silverbullet999, post some useful opinions in your next post or get my vote.
Would you also care to do the same? Hey I know, same deal for you with your next post bud.
drmy has been playing at least imo, slightly different from last game... this just may be improvements or changes in his style, or his scum play, or mayhaps his lesser interest since he's in a ton of games. dunno for sure. I'm indifferent with kage though question for you... had you been active around day 1, would you have hopped that wagon too? SC is bumping up with his little threat... and basically only showing he's active for the moment by saying said threat. Though a witty response for him should be, it's not a threat it's a promise. What did your reread of drmyshottyizsik's posts reveal to you? Who do you think is scum?... People were right it seems....-

You wouldn't need to turn the threat back at me if you were reading, silverbullet999. drmyshottyizsik posts only occasionally and doesn't give a satisfactory case on Beefster. In addition, you're also on my scumlist for starting Day 4 being generally unproductive, hence the threat in the first place.STRANGERCOUG: Stranger Than You!

Sorry if I find it hypocritical that you'd go out of your way... to make a small short post... threatening someone to reveal who they think is scum... and leave it at that (not posting own suspicions). Your still also up there as being the one to initially make a threat hits me with a heavy gut scum read. I called out one scum from him telling me to think carefully after asking a question, and though that may not be the same case here, your up on my list friend. You wouldn't need to turn the threat back at me if you were reading, silverbullet999. drmyshottyizsik posts only occasionally and doesn't give a satisfactory case on Beefster. (Basically I see no true reasons to threaten someone to take action unless your trying to control or manipulate said actions... there are exceptions of course)... People were right it seems....-

silverbullet999, it is important to understand that I don't write 25-page reports on people when I don't need to write 25-page reports on people. If I feel only one or two sentences are fine, then I will post only one or two sentences. If you want me to elaborate on them, ask me to do so. Don't arbitrarily label me as scum for posting short cases.
It is also important to understand that I'm allowed to agree with other people. And I did it how I prefer to do it: come to the conclusion myself. It is not uncommon for me to continue going after the same person if another one flips and ends up not giving me any hints as to scum, which itself is not uncommon. I suspect drmyshottyizsik, another player gets lynched and flips VT, a third player gets nightkilled and flips VT, and suddenly drmyshorttyizsik isCLEARED!?I'm sorry, but I'm failing to connect the dots here.
In any event, my suspicionsHAVEchanged. I had dropped you off my scum list thinking you VI, and now you're back on it for posting fluff this late in the game.
Me issuing a threat is a null tell. I do not believe in empty threats. When I say I am going to do something, then by God, I am going to do my damnedest to do it, even if it hurts me and/or I hate to do it. If you want an example of me threatening someone as town, go read Insane Asylum 2. If you want an example of me threatening someone as scum, go read Mind Screw Mafia 4.
I'll leave it up for discussion whether I should have put more effort at the start of Day 4, but until I made the threat, you failed to put any effort into the game at all today. Nice job calling the pot white and the kettle black.

Your vote looked rather opportunistic, and I figured I could get a more immediate response from you than silverbullet999, so I switched to you. As for voting, I don't need to look for reasons to vote people because I already have them, though I may switch to pressure as necessary.KageLord wrote:The fact that you switch votes so readily indicates that you really don't care if he answers or not and you're just looking for reasons to vote people. Are you going to base all of your OMGUS attacks in the future on that old slip? (For the record, silverbullet999 is referring to this post.)silverbullet999 wrote:I called out one scum from him telling me to think carefully after asking a question, and though that may not be the same case here, your up on my list friend.
StrangerCoug has a legitimate concern, and threats are a fine town tactic that I personally favor. The fact that you have essentially taken his threat and reversed it suggests to me that you are more focused on defending yourself than finding scum. Like I said before, am I going to find your fingerprints on that coconut?
You don't, and you're not supposed to care.silverbullet999 wrote:Also how am I supposed to read your mind and realize that your suspicions haven't changed during the flip?
