You're saying he plays this way as town. You're insinuating that you are okay with lynching town.

He also plays this way as scum. I am absolutely fine with lynching a player who can't be read. I never said I was okay with lynching town.

But he's already softclaimed some sort of informative role, which I don't see coming from scum, and you still want to lynch him.

I can definitely see that coming from scum, especially scum like vezok scum. Vezok is VERY eager to claim and it's entirely possible that his scummates set him up in the quicktopic. Don't be so quick to dismiss him as town even if he probably is. Let him claim before loudly declaring him town.

zwet, we're not lynching you because you haven't done anything lynch-worthy yet.

really? Yet you missed the part about multiple recruiters... and this has nothing to do with you /in-ing into every game you possibly can? Here's a hint maybe you should read the rules and the flavour before you /in willy nilly. Then you don't do something stupid and softclaim or give us info that we should all already know.

Please read the pre game info here: http://mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14929 you know, the stuff your meant to read uh... before the game! I don't think its scummy at all, I just think its incredibly stupid. I understand Seraphims frustration, he self admittedly /in's pretty much every large game and if he is playing to this standard then I can understand why a policy lynch might be an option. You might say having his pro-town and pro-scum play the same is a good thing but not when you just play scummy all the time. You just frustrate the other players.

The recruiting was the whole point of the Flavour. The Deceased Don's Sons want to take over. Therefore we can conclude that they are the recruiters.

What if he's a town recruiter?
What if he's a jester?
What if we're actually all town and this is a test of psychology???

Now that the WIFOM is out of the way, Vezok isn't the brighest bulb in the package, but I feel he's town, when I compare his play here with what I saw in CEBM as mod.

What little I've seen of vezok leads me to think that he's more likely to be clueless than a genius of reverse psychology. I guess this could be a genius product of scum groupthink, but I'm leaning away from that. He's probably just set himself up for a nightkill, so I doubt we'll end up needing to work it out one way or t'other.

I don't like the Seraphim lynch, as I can't imagine he'd play differently because of alignment on this (unless they're knowingly on the same team or something). As it stands, I'd be more inclined to lynch Friend. I guess my problem is that every wagon we have right now is getting on one person for bad reasoning on voting another person. They all seem equivalent to me.

Furcolow's post annoys me. Actually post something of value.

Hello everyone. Happy hunting.

Seraphim - already backpedaling on your vezok read or changing your story due to some pressure? First, he's anti-town/scummy, then he's probably town, then he could be scum, then he can't be read, then his general play is simply lynch worthy.
Seraphim, 56 wrote:Don't be so quick to dismiss him as town even if he probably is. Let him claim before loudly declaring him town.
Are you asking him to claim to prove himself to be town? And you still are suggesting that he is probably town.

Also, why has your read changed so much? Since you declared him probable town he has had two posts (one stating the game in question and the second stating he doesn't care about player lists and doesn't have grudges). What in those two posts made him not probable town anymore?

I've lynched people I thought were town before because it was good for the town in the long run, so I don't categorically agree with the idea that wanting to lynch someone regardless of alignment is scummy. However, vezok has softclaimed a role that's relevant to a major scum mechanic, and pushing a policy lynch on him under those circumstances suggests a hidden agenda.

I have made a decision. My personal dislike outside of this game for the player vezokpiraka and his playstyle is interfering with my ability to play this game properly. As such, I have requested replacement. I apologize in advance. I was hoping that vezok would have learned how to actually play Mafia since my game with him, not in 117, but the Large Normal Mafia vs Werewolves where his roleclaiming antics outed the Mason team.

If vezok replaces out, I am more than happy to replace back into the slot but frankly, I'm done with his bullshit play and I'm not inning or replacing into any more games with him. I'm done, fucking finished.

Also, inHim makes a point. If Seraphim is scum, then vezo is likley town, and Erg0 is likely scum.
