My role is not scum, but to survive at tis juncture. Sitting at L1 at this point in the game is a hard task no matter how good they are is an uphill battle especially this close to the end of the game. However when I was saying don't judge me on previous contestants, I meant their tone. I post in an entirely different style to how they did or didn't post. I'm so late into this game now and trying to pick up the pieces is really hard. I assume most of you have already decided on whether you are going to vote e for me or not. Beanman is doing a valiant job of scum hunting and prodding, this to me is an eager townie. Triple D has fiired off assignations in my direction without allowing a moments breathing space. I understand he is basing this on my previous postees but he could have waited for me to at least get a first post in and then fire off his opinion. To me that is someone using their experience to get the others to back him on deflecting possible chance of Italian heritage into me.

Applefarmer, unsure on where he/she sits really, hard time reading you, maybe down to the newbieness of your posts? Then there's tanstalas who is flip flopping with votes here there and everywhere and try g to 'catch people out' by bandwagon jumping. Tanstalas currently stands out more than anyone yet, but I need to go back and check to see if anyone has been confirmed town and I have missed the posts regarding this before I put my vote in.

Snake, Beanman asked for a claim and that means role not just "not scum" and given prior discussion that means he probably is willing to drop the hammer on you. The only way I see that not happening is that you let us know that you're actually the doctor; that means you need to claim truthfully and fully ASAP.

Damnit Snake, I wish you did get caught. I'm not sure. Here is where I'm sitting, I'm like 60/40 between snake and someone else. The person I'm 60 is Apple, not gonna dance around it. My issue is that DDD has gone to bat for them, and defended them. I'm fairly confident in my town read of DDD, and his experience. Which makes it even worse for you Snake, cause he still hasn't unvoted you, which lessens my read on him a bit, but also doesn't help my read on you. Your analysis wasn't bad. It was actually pretty good in fact. It also gives me much confidence that if I hammer you and I'm wrong, that I'm probably D3's night kill... The one thing gnawing at the back of my head is this miracle scum hunting technique that DDD introduced D1. It most certainly applies to you. Now of course it's not going to be accurate 100% of the time, I'm sure there will be exceptions to the rules. The question I'm posing to myself is if you are the exception. hmmmm

Like I said earlier I feel Triple D is using his experience and 'helping' town to cover his tracks. The more you play his game the easier it is to confluse and double cross people by the useof other peoples styles and previous posts from previous games to come across as pro town, however the thing that im kind of wondering about is your almost fingering TripleD while saying that it's apple you most suspect? Which is it TripleD or apple. Im still a bit away from a vote and im also yet to hear from tanstalas

When I voted Beanman that was a gambit to see if I could get someone to jump on his BW, applefarmer did vote for him, and is noted.

I then did switch my vote to DDDP with reasoning (and please note that both the aforementioned votes I was the FIRST person to vote for them - so bandwagon hopping, not so much)

And then my vote on you was explained as well.

Am I absolutely positive you are the scum? No. I am fairly confident that it is you, applefarmer or DDDP though (that being said, if you aren't scum, I expect beanman or I to die tonight)

Snake, I have some questions for you. Did you read the part where DDD proposed that scum-tell about criticizing your predecessors and applied it to DavidParker? What did you think of it, and did it just not cross your mind as you were doing it yourself?

It's come up in several posts, I dislike that you haven't addressed.

tanstalas - I was outright accusing you, I was simply stating your play was raising my eyebrow much more than anyone else currently, so I wasn't trying to trip you up or anything, just making an observation that I had been asked for by beanman.

Applefarmer - I had to go back and have now read it, and no it didn't cross my mind, but I still personally feel what I was trying to say was I am not them and I may not have agreed necessarily with their comments. I wouldn't have come to the same conclusions either, but thats easy to say with hindsight after the fact. I'm just trying to work from hereon out and make the best of what we can, coming into the game so late and having two other people in here before me.

I'm bored so I'm going to respond to this claptrap. I "fiired off assignations" when I did because as I explained previously I was doing a re-read on Friday and would post that night or that weekend with my thoughts. So my posting wasn't an attempt to do anything other than post my thoughts when I was first available to do so.

I'm not even sure what the second sentance actually means, I certainly use my experience to both develop reads and inform me about the game state. I'm not sure it's possible for me to abuse my experience though; if anything it feels to me as if most players in this game have reacted rather cynically when I've tried to bring up things my experience suggests to me. And I have no idea where he's going with the Italian heritage bit, especially since I aint Italian (like at all, not even partially).

Yeah well done I tried, but reading back I knew I was in trouble from the outset. My best effort would have been to get to night, then I might have had a chance. but well played to all. Triple D I've gained a lot from your insights reading back, so thanks for that. To the rest of you well played. Although I'm surprised none of you picked up on my earlier mistake when asked about a role and I said that I could read. Which meant I went back and worked out which of the game sets we were on and picked town.

It feels really good to get a win in my first game back from my hiatus and even better a win where I was actually both right and reasonably effective in playing. Sorry about lynching you D1 warriormode, but most of the things I said about you applied to iamatree as well and they were accurate in that case. In mafia a 50% success rate for a tell is in all reality fantastic since only 22% of the players are scum (in Newbie games). Big ups to theperson for correctly investigating on D1, I'm not sure how D2 would've gone otherwise and it certainly allowed me to regain my feet.

Feel free to to use everything you learned in this game in future games, I just ask that the tell I pulled on DavidParker is properly credited to Amished and not to me and don't abuse it. If you think you can lynch someone without it do so, if you're not sure it applies or not then don't reference it. Most tells are only effective as long as they're relatively unknown, as soon as people know about a tell they make sure they don't do it so if you want the tell to be effective for you then you need to keep it on the down low as much as possible.

No hard feelings Beanman. You were a little harsh, but I'm aware that I earned that suspicion. I did learn a lot this game though, and I fully expect my next game to go a little bit smoother.
