. An inventor role is plausible, and Gengar is pretty cool. Though, Dream Eater only works (in the games) if the other pokémon is asleep (IE after using Hypnosis), so what that role would do is beyond me.

With this new information, I'll review the case on Espeonage and see how I feel about it now.

I'm Gengar, with four moves. I dont know what each move does, so I'm like a JOAT/Inventor hybrid.

They are:

Hypnosis
Dream Eater
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast

I used Focus Blast on Gandalf N1, hoping it was a vigkill because I was so sure Gandalf was scum. It turned out to be a cop inv. Gandalf was innocent.

Sorry, town, for outing my role. I suck as a power role, it seems.

Now, could you all take guesses at what the rest of my actions do? I suspect Hypnosis could be a roleblock or something similar.

A few things about this don't sit right with me.
First - To all of you that have pokemon roles, do you get a set of four like this?
Second - Not seeing how Focus Blast would be a cop investigation, unless they're all arbitrary, in which case speculation really doesn't matter
Third - I feel like this is an elaborate fake claim to save gandalf's ass. But eh, WIFOM and all

Oh. That's strange. Then I doubt that there's much correlation between names and effects. But I think you would be best off using them on anti-town players. Possibly protecting Espeo would be better than possibly vigging MBF.

So, if we are to assume Gandalf is town for now, we can also assume he's telling the truth about roleblocking Espeonage overnight. Unfortunately, that doesn't really prove Espeonage's guilt or innocence. Lynching him will though.

Oh, and for the record, Gandalf, Jigglypuff is known for Lullaby, Wigglytuff's main thing is that it balloons to epic sizes, according to the anime. It just picks up the move as a side effect of being an evolution. So chill the fuck out and get off your goddamn pedestal.

He TOLD us what his ability did. It sends a message that simply says "You have received a Magikarp", and nothing more. It doesn't even say that Espeo sent it, as far as he has said.
