Just fyi, I believe boberz is at Lynch -1.
Bub, if you find yourself thinking that sort of thing 5 pages in and it's not about a newbie, you're probably wrong.
For the people asking for content: Lowell is looking townish and it should be evident why if you think about it.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

You seem confused. I clearly stated what I was doing when I changed my vote.Bubberskins wrote:Question: Why are you voting for boberz? You gave no explanation whatsoever. You just shamelessly hopped on the badwagon.
Take a guess.Bubberskins wrote:Also, why does Lowell look townish? Again, explanation would be nice here.
I'm noting berz' failure to acknowledge being at lynch -1.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

boberz, Xine, OsoParama wrote:I want everyone to give 3 scum reads and 3 town reads in their next post.
Lowell, DemonHybrid, Parama (You are making a surprising amount of sense.)
I just looked it up and I can't find any questions addressed to me between the vote and post 108. And the original vote-post is fairly self-contained in terms of what it means.xvart wrote:At the time of this post, you had been asked by at least two different people to explain your blatant bandwagon and you still didn't answer here. Why?
Pretty much. I'm old school.xvart wrote:Oh, you mean the *hops*? So you admit you just want to bandwagon without care or concern?
I didn't think it would be necessary to mention it as it should be self-evident, really. Also, there were 4 votes on him at the time; I would've gladly put on a fourth or sixth vote but that's not how the world works, my friend.xvart wrote:Why didn't you say this the first time? Also, the fifth vote? Not the fourth? Is the fourth vote not a bandwagon? Is the sixth vote to late? You make zero sense here.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

This also wasn't inbetween the two posts I mentioned and it contains 3 spelling errors.Bubberskins wrote:You were technically right, this wasn't a question; it was a command. If you want it phrased as a question, I can do that.
Bandwagonning.Bubberskins wrote:Why did you vote for Boberz?
Why are you still voting Boberz?
Why are being so difficult for the town?
I think he might be scum.
I would describe it as concise, not as difficult.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

Because bandwagons are good for the town in that they allow us to obtain information more effectively due to discourse becoming more meaningful in their presence.Bubberskins wrote:Why are you bandwagoning?
Why do you think he might be scum?
Why are you so concisely difficult?
A combination of factors: gut, failure to acknowledge the l-1, his weaksauce vote on you.
I would describe it as concisely concise, not as concisely difficult.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

I strongly disagree.xvart wrote:How about this one; and this one (although technically those weren't questions but I believe the intention was clear).
Yes.xvart wrote:Did you mean to say you just put down whatever vote it happens to be as long as it is the leading bandwagon?
Technically true if taken out of context, yes. But given the context I think the meaning is clear: I'm suspicious of berz but this suspicion is not particularly strong (which shouldn't be that surprising considering we're on page 10.)Parama wrote:None of the above are lies. I could say all this and be telling the truth every time.
Yeah, clearly, if I hadn't been town, I would've either caught scum by now or exaggerated my certainty. *rolls eyes*Parama wrote:Scum tend to make fewer definite statements than town - it gives them the ability to back out of their reads.
Either you're already convinced that three people are scum, in which case you're kidding yourself, or you just state your suspicions more strongly, which does not strike me as significant.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

I really didn't mean anything by it and frankly, I can't even think of anything I realistically could have meant by it.xvart wrote:You don't find the statement about placing a very specific vote on a bandwagon just because he wanted to bandwagon intriguing in the slightest? I find comments like this worth at the very least a minor line of inquiry. I don't see why someone who is admittedly bandwagoning just for the sake of bandwagoning would specify a particular vote on a bandwagon. There was obviously an intention behind the comment, and I'm trying to parse that intention out.
I don't intend to hammer Bubberskins, just fyi.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

Eh, most of the dead players had him in their favoured scum team. The right people definitely got killed off; I wasn't the only who thought charter and Lowell were obvtown and that boberz-Socrates made most sense as the scum pair.
P.S. Oso, it's just my playstyle - I don't change my play based on whether I have a power role (consciously, anyway).Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

Balance considerations pretty clearly pointed to Xine being town. Early on lynching a PR just requires a higher burden of proof and later on and later on it tends to be pretty clear whether there are scum among the claimed PRs.Oso wrote:The reason I ask is that one thing I have always been unable to not do (even as town) is try and figure out the best way to lynch a PR. Not NK them but rather get them lynched and do it in a way that won't backfire on me.
Call it an intellectual exercise...or a really twisted sense of fun.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!
