It's possible that they're unrelated events.

So my theory is that no battery power remaining = no corruption. So I think we should try hold off on the lynch until the battery is nearly empty. or OFC we could quicklynch and see whether more people are corrupted. :igmeou:

I think we should test the battery theory.
Let's quick lynch furc and see what happens. Or we ca wait for time to pass until the battery is down at 5% and then lynch furc.
Anyway I won't change my vote. Sorry.

Actually, if Furc is scum, this might be the worst bus in the history of mafia happening right now...

I've always just assumed the remaining battery power recharging to just be the battery mechanic starting up again for the next day. I dunno, guess I over-simplified it?

Anyways, it's already been said that mechanic speculation is useless right now.

@Soc: Why a massclaim when we still have some 13 players left? Have you figured something out about the setup that we should know?

Not sure, but outguessing this way doesn't seem to be a good idea. I don't think batteries are affecting the lynches there.

This whole interaction is IMO compatible with vezo-Furc scumteam trying to get each other bussed.

Furc is pretty definitely VI-town IMO. Vezo is not. Vezo is very possibly VI-scum. But...

For the defense of mothrax and for this:
pacman wrote:This whole interaction is IMO compatible with vezo-Furc scumteam trying to get each other bussed.

This is very opportunistic and picking the two easiest mislynch targets. I have a feeling our wagon on him yesterday wasn't a bad idea.

I'd be down for a massclaim too, honestly. I have a feeling scum got fakeclaim names (envoy of good? maybe he came up with that himself, but...) but not roles. Envoy of good was so obviously not a tracker - it should be interesting to see the claims with the names.

Yay for Charts!

That was 2 hours wasted.

Furcolow is town, though.

I would be surprised if all three of the unvotes after the claim (960-981, Iec, CKD, Furc) were all town. Furc is town, so he's out. CKD immediately jumped on the pacman counterwagon (981) and then immediately jumped off (982), which confuzzles me greatly. The jump on the counterwagon fits with a scumbuddy that was bussing, but then he immediately stops.

>.>

mmmm.

Agar is probably town.

Friend was the first person (other than Agar) to kick off the Mothrax revival wagon. Town points for him.

Both CKD and Iec immediately follow him. Those two names again.

I'll look at this some more later.

I came across a post by Mothrax that makes Plum very likely town. I forget the post number, though.

You say you had to pick a wagon. An even wagon. How could that be?
And why do you say you had to pick a wagon?
You have to vote players you have a scum read on.

First, offenses aren't going anywhere (1000000th time I say this).
Second, I now realize that 2 scum trying to bus each other is less likely than any other option. This whole interaction was extremely strange, and I thought it might be something set off by the mafia to confuse any distracted town. However, on second thought, I realize that that would only be possible if all scumbags were idiots. Which is, well, not possible.
However, I'm now confused.
I think that, the most obvious scenario is one of them is town, other one is scum, but I just can't decide which one of them is scum. However, when I think on it, it's suddenly possible that they might actually be both VItown, maybe because I don't see such an epic dive possible by scum (yeah, call it "too scummy to be scum").
...
Meh. When I try to think on this dichotomy, the scenario of furc being scum is just very unlikely. Thus, I
Unvote.
Gotta think on it later when my mind clears up.

you're saying vezokpiraka is "too scummy to be scummy"? I know you're at LEAST implying it. I am way more suspicious of you after i saw the duration of which you were riding my wagon with your scumbuddy mothrax. You also make me want to lynch you more than vezokpiraka with this above post, as you are riding the "confused town" card which you have been refuting by faking like you're not a VI while acting like one. You are trying to give off that aura if you are scum, but you, if town, need to fix that.

The main reason I'm switching my vote is because you're like "maybe one of them is scum, and one is town. no, they're both town! furcolow is town!" which is an entire flip-flop of what you've been posting the last 20 pages.

Indeed, I've just flipped around my opinion. I've seen you as scum for quite a time, but this stuff has just gotten me to realize that it's just impossible that you're scum. In the 1 scum-1 town scenario, it's just very unlikely that you're scum.
And, I'm now honestly obfuscated. I wasn't just pulling out the "confusedtownie" card. I'm gona post my thoughts either later tonight or tomorrow.

Still an epic good wagon guys, Major flip-flop here (did he explain clearly what made him change read on Furc or did he merely pander to charts and Town opinion? That uestion shouldn't need answering). Besides - we just got a scumflip and instead of looking for connections to him pacman prefers to speculate the two players are practicing mutual bussing (which he then retracts)? Uh huh.

Not sure I'm for massclaim. I'd guess that the ineptness of mothrax's claim is due more to his mafia skillz, or lackings therein, than to anything else. Envoy of Good = Tracker had something obviously wrong with it, yeah, but that was a function of mothrax not being able to lie convincingly on his feet. I guess this probably has some roots in a poorly organized scumteam but am not sure a massclaim would really benefit us in thatway enough to counteract the general downsides of a premature massclaim. This stands unless Soc has some POWERFUL WIZARDLY reasons for massclaim.

Battery conversion is a bit odd - I'd read it as actually powering the kill, but Iec's conclusion almost has to be wrong by its very nature - I can't see Vi putting in a mechanic which punished Town for lynching before deadline and rewarded dragging the Day all the way to a completely drained battery. Hmmm. I had an idea
but
it's not it - might be on the right track but I'm not seeing everything.
