VV is pretty straightforward. If I have to go gather the myriad of iso quotes to establish this I will but seriously:

VV has done nothing. His 'scumlist' has been almost universally people who have found him scummy (for not actually doing anything). Further, when called out, its been the repeated litany of "I'm scummy but everyone who thinks I'm scummy is actually the scum". This is normally followed by long periods of silence (and he's active on site) to jump in and continue on which ever crusade against who thinks he's scum is the most vocal about it at that point in time.

Really, it makes sense that I suspect people who attack me. I'm really not motivated to keep up with this game and am on the verge of replacing out(I think I'll TRY to reread the thread when I feel like it and really decide from then.). And thus, I am goddamn lazy for this entire game. Of course scum would attack me, it's so easy to attack me, why you only have to make paragraphs like Spy's #1326 and now you have your magic trick! An illusion of scumhunting!

Then again, Town would also attack me but I consider them collateral damage.

@mith: DGB feels Town because:
1. DGB's recent argument with you rings sincere(thus Townish.). If DGBscum were being tunnelled D1 onwards by a dude with a red name, I feel that she really would have NK'd you N1. DGB would probably be Alpha-scum(ie. dominant scum) in her scumteam due to her reputation and you'd be dead.
2. She'd have daytalking scumbuddies to coordinate with. Her play doesn't have the slight bit of coordination that I can see, thus Townish.
3. She seems eager to display her opinions even with you attacking her D1 onwards. I'd imagine scum under pressure would lie low.

I'm consistently wondering why mith is still alive and not scum-NK'd. Why would scum kill tajo and Herodotus over mith? Tajo, I'd understand as a PR read-NK(due to the lurking). But obv-VTHerod over obv-VT(if Town) mith?

Kmd, in all sincerity I hope that when my alignment is revealed as pro-town - whether that happens at the end of today, or on a later night or day, or at the end of the game - you resist the urge to brush this fiasco off as a "oops, guess I was wrong, my bad, teehee" moment and seize the opportunity to take a good hard introspective look at your play and your logical reasoning skills (or lack thereof).

We all make mistakes, in Mafia and elsewhere. Everyone gets bad reads. It happens (a lot), and it's ok. What's not ok is for you to get the tunnel fever like a newbie, despite multiple third parties telling you your case is rubbish; determination in the face of reasoning isn't a badge of honor, it's just stupidity. What's not ok is for you to decide that you've "got enough of a feel" and don't need to share your thoughts on the other players, or ask insightful questions, or otherwise contribute to the game beyond your pathetic tunnel and an acknowledgement that you might have to move your vote at deadline. That's not... [actually, I don't know what "good" thing you could think the position you've taken in 1284 represents, but whatever it is, stick it here], it's just bad play.[/patronising tone]

Now that I'm finished talking down to Kmd, can we get on with lynching DGB?

Yes, that's what it was, is a clerical error. When I do the wagon analysis, I don't let the names bias me. I omitted Seraphim's name from the tally in my haste. Besides, he turned out to be in the crowded middle pack, but I wouldn't have noticed since I neglected to add up his numbers.

Are you going to make a case that it was scummy? What was the point of that criticism?

After rereading the exchange I'm pretty sure Mith is town, he had every reason to jump on the bandwagon at the time considering that we needed a lynch and zoraster wasn't exactly cooperating and overall and he's made no substantative scumslips in my mind.

DGB is imo still town, his initial gambit while wierd strikes me as something really stupid for scum to do, and there's nothing he's done during the game which changes my overall impression of him. His analysis also strikes me as a legitimate attempt, though I'm not sure if he's right.


VV is almost definitely scum, I don't buy the "too dumb to be scum" defense at all.
