No, what I was saying is that you shouldn't say who you'll investigate beforehand.

Additionally, you should always wait until someone is about to be lynched before giving us the name of an innocent : it could help to see the said innocent be wagonned, in order to analyze who went after him, when and how.
And the town should always leave you the time to say who is innocent before concluding a lynch.
For now, I'll ask Thoth to come up with reasons why I should be voting for him, and I'd like him to respond to those.

As we probably still have a doc (seeing that we only have a dead backup) that's usually the best course of action. Unless you have something like 3 innocents where it gets hard for scum to catch up on killing the doc, you and all 3 innocents.

Poke from Mr. Flay received. Here's my list of some of the more obvious roles, also known as "What I'd Include If I Ran This Game":

Mary
Joseph
Jesus

Gabriel (cop)
Seraphim (doc)
Cherubim (backup doc)
Balthasar the Magi (mason)
Melchior (mason)
Caspar (mason)
Innkeeper (role blocker)

Madalyn Murray O-Hair (Cult leader)
Herod (GF)
Soldier (mafia)
Soldier (mafia)

Were there any role-claims I missed besides "shepherd - townie"? Also, one notes that Madalyn is a contemporary figure that was against religion, so the scope of characters is not limited to the ones found in a stable. Quite honestly, and I know I'm putting myself out by doing this, I hesitate to believe if vanilla townie roles exist.

Day three, and I really don't feel I've got much to go by. Werebear's list seems reasonable, but seeing that there's still 15 of us alive, mod has included some other roles as well.

Lynching a random person/ a lurker isn't a plan I'd normally support this late in the game, but I really don't have any better suggestion... :(

I still think that Herod will have some interaction with the Magi.

Oh, I know there are more twists in this. And I had considered the idea of animals as scum, but the kill types don't match up, now that the cult leader has been killed. (I'm assuming the trampled death is by the SK)

Hmm I Cant help but feel we are missing something extremely important in the set up. Either way at this point i think it would be better if we focused on each other right now.

At the moment my vote is going to stay where it is, but i would like to hear thoughts from those who havent voted yet.

Wasn't King Herod the guy who ordered the deaths of the first-borns in Exodus?

Why would he be in the Nativity story? Isn't there hundreds of years between these two stories?

King Herod ordered the death of all young children to be sure to get Jesus as well and is a prime target for a scum role in this game ==>Killing Jewish children = bad
All the firstborns were only Egyptian firstborns, but that was on God's orders, so ==> killing Egyptian children = good. Unless I misinterpret of course.

Wow slaughtering of children sure was a popular theme in old fairy tales huh? Twice in the same book?

They didn't do it with as much style as Revenge of the Sith though.
