I don't understand how knowing whether or not he's a light sleeper of heavy sleeper will help us, as both town and scum have light and heavy sleepers.

I think I had been pretty clear that ANY wagon was profitable, due to the redic slow pace of the game.

Re: my hide choice.. I actually was going to choose Vezo, thinking that if he was scum he wouldnt get blown up (which I later realized was illogical).. and if he

town, he was scummy, thus wouldn't get blown up.. then I WIFOM'ed it into thinking that, if town, he WOULD get blown up, because that is the one place the scum knows he WONT be.. thus making sure he lived..... THEN I Wifomed like crazy.. and eventually picked you because your name was in the last post, and I had been staring at it for 5 minutes. And I figured, if you were town, you were a replacement, and the scum would want you alive. But you might not have got your night choice in, so they would bomb somewhere else.

God how exhausting.


PS.. I have racked my brain trying to figure out how we can use our night choices strategically... but I can't think of anything.
Anyone have any ideas that they feel like they could share without wrecking them?

I am currently in someone elses room and have yet to read page 9. However, I do not agree with claiming anything related to our thought process in terms of hiding. Scum obviously missed last night, so I do not see why we should discuss hiding thoughts. Basically, nothing should be done to 1. Suggest where we will hide at night and 2. To direct people to lean towards hiding in specific rooms.

Erm, I may post later to clarify as to what I mean, but yeah. I do not like any discussion pertaining to "night choices" and increasing scum chances of hitting.

I just know that I didn't hide in vezok's room, and tried to hide in DGB's room but got kicked into some unknown room

I really will get to commenting I hope, but TANS IS MY VOTE AFTER VEZOK. I think it was far_cry stating something about his current playstyle as an attempt to avoid being meta'd, but THIS IS NOT HIS TOWN META. HE IS PLAYING LIKE THAT TO AVOID GETTING VOTED FOR SIMPLY BEING "TOO ALOOF TO BE SCUM". Its actually a copy of what zwet did in my last game with tans. If anything, I'm wondering why jenn has yet to comment on that as well.

Aka, my gut is still screaming tans scum.

Furthermore, camn is definately not obvtown. I am not liking how she keeps trying to suggest herself being "obv". The hider comment made just now irked me further. TBH, as townie as camn may seem, she is quite high up on my scumdar. I see tans playing meta WIFOM.

Oh, further commenting. Elli is not town meta. I would also have expected Elli to know that even if vezok claimed light sleeper, it would yield no info. Why? BECAUSE VEZOK OBVIOUSLY WASN'T IN HIS OWN ROOM LAST NIGHT SINCE NO ONE DIED WHEN HIS ROOM ASPLODED, AND ONLY SEES ANYTHING IF HE STAYED IN HIS OWN ROOM ANYWAYS.

As such I think we can eliminate vezok as light sleeper.

I'm keeping my vote where it is - I don't buy Katsuki's claim that she tried to hide in DGB's room so DGB randomly assigned a room to Katsuki - I would think the mod would have either told KAtsuki to pick a PLAYERS room or defaulted Katsuki to stay in her own room.

And the only thing I can think about for "using" the roles would be to have the light sleepers claim and if we have 3 or 4 we split everyone up into those peoples rooms hoping that we put a scum in each room so even if a room gets blown up if the person wasn't in the room they were supposed to be we know they are scum. However the more I thought about it - it is a bad idea cuz even if we managed to randomly put a scum in each room and they didn't go to that room we would lose 3 townies to kill 1 scum

I think I'll just use random.org to figure out where to hide. There really is no strategy that I can think of. There is a 1/11 chance of not dying (well 1/10 after a lynch today - I like those odds)

I also like that you are continuing down the path of 'too townie to be town'. I enjoy that.
You should really decide though, which it is. DO I seem town? Or not? You keep trying to have it both ways.... which is weak play. An informed, organized town is a huge threat to scum.. so I dont understand why you would want to shut down discussion on any front. I get why you might keep your personal thoughts hidden, but saying that you "do not like any discussion pertaining to "night choices"" is simply anti-town. The night choices are the only thing than makes this anything other than a mountainous. and if there IS 4 scum like you suggest (which I doubt).... well.. nobody has ever won a 4 vs. 8 mountainous. Ever. So we should just give up now if we can't figure out how to make the night time work for us.

I don't think I defended him as much as gave him the benefit of the doubt over that first comment about claiming. (I addressed this to FC in post 223); however, after the quickhammer, that benefit is gone. The only reason my vote isn't on him yet is because by the time I logged in yesterday he was at L-1, and he still hasn't posted a defense.

Right now, scum will have a 1/10 chance to hit anyone tonight. There is a huge chance they will hit an empty room again. As the numbers dwindle (either through bombing or lynching) it will begin to get easier to work out who is who, especially since the number of open rooms will also drop. Dividing players up now would only make it easy for them to take out players they feel threatened by.

I have an uneasy feeling about the amount of lurking going on at this stage in the game.

1) yes. You DO need to comment on that statement.

2) mountainous games are games with no power roles or special mechanics. They are notoriously difficult for the town. This would be a mountainous if it were not for the night mechanic. Your suggestion that we AVOID talking about the night mechanic would essentially nullify any advantage the mechanic gives us.... Making this game equivalent to a mountainous game.
