Perhaps the reason is no-one has ever bothered to make a case against me. Mina and I jousted over game-play point of view opinions. I’ve yet to see any real suggestion why I am a Greyjoy or Lannister that I could actually critique.

But yeah, Magna's guaranteed scum in my perspective.

He’s made it to last 6. Despite significant pressure in the first few Days he’s managed to lurk and sheep his way here. He can’t actually make a case on me so he’s resorting to appending scum to my name hoping that repetition will be enough to get the mislynch he needs. Because he knows that a Kingmaker scenario is his only shot at victory.

We need to hit scum today. I think a concensus over whether we should be targeting a Greyjoy or Lannister needs to be reached. For obvious self-serving reasons I think Greyjoy is the way to go and thus CSL should be the lynch. If we decide Lannister I’ll be supporting diddin to hang.

I would support a CSL lynch. I would much rather hang mac today (confirms more people as town), but I would support a CSL lynch. Maester Luwin does not seem like a character who would be a VT. Sounds more like a potential doctor. Plus didn't he claim at like L-10? The nail in the coffin is his deliberately excluding me as a Lannister candidate and saying with NO DOUBT the two scum.

Why I would rather lynch Mac: If we lynch CSL today and he flips Greyjoy scum, we likelier than not have to choose between 3 people for the lynch tomorrow (me Mac or Magna). If we lynch Mac today we have +1 confirmed town.

Yer, I'm starting to feel that way too...which kind of makes me feel bad about our slot being on your case so hard earlier, but I guess PoE can point you in the wrong direction sometimes. I need to discuss with Mac (he's currently V/LA), but that's where I'm leaning for today's lynch.

Yeah, agree that we can't miss today. The odds of hitting Greyjoy are better and therefore that is where we should be targetting. CSL has been pro pretty much any lynch he could get this game and the fact that he wasn't too interested in you until we explicitly told him he should be makes me think he's a Greyjoy. Even if diddin is very likely the last Lanny, this close to endgame it's probably better to play the odds that are in our favor.

This logic makes no sense. It's much higher risk than having a 50/50 chance of hitting scum. You're trying to trump it up with some kind of confirmed town bonus...but here's the real deal on this plan: diddin wants a kingmaker scenario tomorrow. If CSL is the last Greyjoy, diddin is betting that he'd kill probably one of Magna or Thor tonight. diddin then kills Richard and tomorrow is kingmaker. Who in their right mind would award CSL with a win over diddin? Granted, diddin's slot did approximately nothing for 95% of the game, but CSL still has him slightly beat in that department. That kind of kingmaker is certainly much more winnable than a lylo with Macavitar, who is town and capable of arguing back at you.

The way I see it is this –

Richard and Thor will be the ones to settle the Greyjoy versus Lannister debate and will probably drive the lynch. They are the closest to clear we have.

@CSL – Why do I get the feeling that your 2508 is just a pale copy of my response to you at 2504? And why interestingly are you attacking him when he hasn’t even voted yet? Attempting to get your vote on him so you can claim OMGUS if he does vote you?

@Richard - I think we're correct insomuch as either CSL or MoI are the Greyjoy. As far as which of the pair is the smarter vote I'm basing my call on gut. I think that Mac hit a pretty good point in noting that, from CSL's perspective, MoI *has* to be scum and CSL is being really odd about not voting him. MoI is at least being consistent to the narrative we have, which makes me feel more comfortable with him as town.

The worst I can see for MoI is that it's possible the Mina kill came from him considering her attitude towards him. The rest of the case on him just makes my head hurt.

What are your thoughts for voting MoI instead of CSL? Is there something you think I'm missing?
