I'm assuming that this is some sort of role that can send messages to people at night. Whether it's actually town or scum is questionable, as it could always be a scum trying to use that rather strange power to look like a townie.

I think a suspicion of Ibaesha at this point is pretty self-explanatory, given that she has received raj's double-vote multiple times and raj turned out to be mafia. I'm not voting because I don't think it means she's necessarily scum, but she's certainly worth keeping an eye on for now.

I've never been in a game with a spy, so I could be wrong, but I looked at the wiki entry for Traitor (which is the same role) and it looks like the spy knows who the mafia is but the mafia don't know who the spy is.

In RotN's scenario 1, it would seem we're basically screwed if Thoth is a cult member. If he's mafia or town, it'll take a unanimous majority of the mafia and the town to lynch a cultist.

This scenario seems very likely though, since we have no reason ATM to believe that Fritzler was blocked at any point, unless someone has more information on the subject.

Coron: The problem with your scenario is that you're assuming 100% correct lynches, which might not happen, and you're also assuming that the mafia will kill completely randomly, but they'll probably try to target someone in particular. As you said - ass/u/me. Also, why are you assuming there's 3 cultists? Why couldn't there be 2 or 4? You're saying not to assume but then you go and do it yourself.

I didn't vote for Thoth because I didn't think the idea that he was scum just because he had the double vote was particularly good, as by that logic Ibaesha would be scum too, but it turns out she was cult. And while I've never played in a game with a spy, the way I understand it is that the spy finds out who the mafia are at the game's very beginning. So, it doesn't seem like raj necessarily received any extra information that night, as there was nothing in his lynchscene to suggest that he didn't know who the scum were... therefore, it didn't make total sense that Thoth was scum.

Every night I get to guess who's going to be killed, and if I guess right, I get a one-shot cop investigation (and while I don't know what sanity the investigation is, I doubt it's non-sane because that'd be a really pointless role... probably bad to try and outguess the mod though).

Yes, inHim is a tracker. Yes, I targetted Quailman last night and I have not denied that.

BECAUSE of that, I got an investigation as a result of my role. I used it to investigate RotN and found that he was scum.

InHim's investigation is completely true, but it does not mean that I am scum.

It's quite possible that we have a scum roleblocker in place of a GF, or some such. That could certainly help to balance out the mafia.

If that's true, then why would Shamrock immediately go after me? He wouldn't know whether his "guilty result" meant that I were mafia or that I were a cultist.

I highly highly doubt we have any more cultists. Fritzler was never roleblocked by you and we have no evidence of it being done by anyone else. So, if he was able to recruit every night, the cult would have won by now (because there'd be 2 members left). My guess is that he could only recruit every other night, or had a limit of people he could recruit, or some such.

Also, does it not seem logical for the final member of the mafia group to be a GF rather than a mafia roleblocker? I'm not sure whether I'm a proven roleblocker, but that can be remedied through a no-lynch.

I've seen large games without a GF before.
