This is crap. There are two scum dead and you're still afraid to lynch someone who claims a powerrole? It shouldn't matter if he claimed Jesus Christ, claiming shouldn't save people from lynches. I kept my vote on him because he was scummy and everyone else hadn't claimed.

I would like to hold off claiming my role, because it can still be very useful, but much less so if revealed. Mysterious claim out of the way, I'd also say that (based on my role) I'm pretty much 100% sure Kitaori is telling the truth and is in fact a doctor.

i feel like wingless's vote is pretty opportunistic - along the lines of dropping in, seeing which way the wind is blowing and voting without much reasoning. i'm kinda hesitant to condemn for it given the overall lack of contribution (and because SC is right up there in terms of who i find suspicious) but this is definitely someone i'm interested in hearing more from.

Well, I've never played vig before, but my logic tells me that saying who I think is scum (and therefore who I am likely to kill) wouldn't be the best idea. Why give scum that kind of information? On the other hand, I could say it and WIFOM scum to death with whether I will actually go for that person or not, but if I'm lying about who I think is most scummy it doesn't exactly help town anyway.

I'm not very confident in my scum reads now anyway. Also, a few people are posting a heck of a lot, which is making it seem like everyone else is rarely posting/lurking. Strange how the game without the day deadline is going quicker than my games with day deadlines. Anyway, I'll try to post something useful later this week (after I turn in my first actual paper).

i don't think that means you can sit in the shadows though; i'd much prefer it if you were at least asking questions of people rather than playing a simple reactive game. you can contribute in ways other than casebuilding.

I of all people should know what KageLord is talking about when he says he wants to avoid stating his scum reads. First time I got vig, I announced who I was going to kill beforehand and went with it. I ended up drawing.

I still like nopointinactingup as scum. If we had only one scum dead, I'd start worrying a bit about how Parama and charter are connecting to each other, but since I think they're the same alignment and four scum doesn't make sense, as I previously said, they're probably both town rather than one scum and one town. I believe KageLord and think lynching Kitoari is the wrong answer, so process of elimination leaves cruelty, Seol, and Wingless for my #2 suspect. I want to see how Wingless responds to cruelty, so I'll leave them both alone and look at Seol.

OK, Seol's only decent post is ISO 7, which is a better case on Parama than nopointinactingup's on me, but I still see major flaws. I'm going to

because I don't see his accusing Parama of being too confident as anything but the Too Townie fallacy. The case on pushing for both an investigation-immune and a bulletproof godfather makes sense in theory, but I'm willing to entertain the possibility that Parama doesn't have enough information to know which immunity the godfather has. (In my games, a godfather per se has investigation immunity and somebody with a bulletproof immunity is a different scum role entirely, but I'm not the one modding, so will probably have to live with this.)
