Sorry, I got church hymns stuck in my head from this morning, and I thought that this one fit with mafia the most.
And I'm agrreing with Astro here."Rolefishing is fishing for someones role. It's called fishing because it requires subtlety. When you grab a shotgun and start firing into the water, thats not fishing." - IH-

Page Sixeen Vote Count, powered by The Count-Counter 2000:
Werebear - 5 (darquiel, Fritzler, Squonk, This is not me, rajrhcpfreak)
darquiel - 2 (Puzzle, TonyMontana)
Squonk - 2 (NanookTheWolf, Werebear)
SSB! - 1 (dybeck)
dybeck - 1 (SSB!)
Not voting - 4 (Iammars, Astronaut, Tyfo, Thoth)
The minimum number of votes required for deadline lynch (Wednesday, midnight - 3 days and a bit from now) will be 5; however that person must have at least 50% of thecast votes. If 7 other votes are scattered elsewhere, no lynch will occur. Since there are 15 players,a normal lynch may still be achieved at any time by 8 votes on one person. At this point, Werebear has five votes, but there are six elsewhere as well. Hope that makes sense. If your post average stays up significantly, I may rescind the deadline before Wednesday.-

After studying Werebear's post, I assume it's his list of possible roles that is the reason for voting him. His other posts are nothing out of the ususal.
Personally, I found Werebear's list quite useful. He might of course be scum showing us how helpful he is by guessing the setup, but I don't think that's something scum would be likely to do on day one.Have you been peckish during the night? Only, someone's been at me cheese.-

Hm. I had just typed a long post, and erased it, because I think I just talked myself out of the vote. OK. I would believe there are shepherds in the game, the shepherds would be a logical role. I would also say if there are shepherds, they would be good. The one scum role we've found so far hasn't been a "surprise" scum, if we were given a role name, the lynch would have been quick. Both "There are no shepherds and Squonk got lucky with a claim" and "The shepherds are evil" don't sound good to me, so I'm going toUnvote: squonkAnyhoo, why is it suspicious that I get confused with a mattress?

Holy crap! I completely missed this page. What the hell? Where did all this come from?
All right, you want an explanation for my extremely scummy posts, here they are.
First post - after being poked by Mr. Flay. I'd apologize for posting a list of possible roles, but I thought it might be helpful. Nobody else seemed to be taking the time to THINK, so I decided to see if I could contribute more than "I'm here". I had no idea that theorizing on town roles was scummy. I usually try and maintain a list of role claims, and try theorizing on possible roles upcoming.
Second post - I say I'd considered, and rejected animals being the mafia, and tried to match up the kills with the killers.
Third post - I voted Squonk, because I didn't like his claim, mostly because of the vanilla townie part. By this, you can guess I'm not a shepherd. What can I say? I still don't like his claim much, but logic made me unvote.
Fourth post - above.
I really am kind of annoyed at being "Flavor of the month" for a bandwagon. If need be, I will claim tonight. But you can't make me happy about it.Anyhoo, why is it suspicious that I get confused with a mattress?

We have a deadline coming and little time to act. So first : can we have adeadline retraction, please ?
If not, I'd like a claim. For now, I'll ask Thoth to come up with reasons why I should be voting for him, and I'd like him to respond to those.

Have you noticed that fritzler *did* back up squonk by saying he's a shepherd aswell, and that our resident cop then confirmed fritzlers credibility?Werebear wrote:Third post - I voted Squonk, because I didn't like his claim, mostly because of the vanilla townie part. THAT was why I put my vote on him, the joke had nothing to do with it.TonyMontana wrote:

Now I really really dont like his defense so for the moment my vote is staying there. I am a bit worried about all of this being so rushed, but with the deadline we have little choice.-
