Yos2, on the other hand, is a lynch I could really go for - his style of play seems very "experienced scum" to me on a gut level and I just KNOW he's gonna tear this post apart because I'm just relying on gut.

"Relying on gut" isn't, itself, scummy. What is a problem is that I tend to think you want to lynch me mostly because I have (on and off again) suspected you for most of the game and so long as I'm alive I'm a threat to you.

I have no particular interest in lynching Yos2 at this point. As he said, there have been plenty of more attractive recruitment targets available in the first few days.

Rereading Me=Weird wasn't all that productive, unfortunately. The only thing that I really determined is that his recruiter probably wasn't Friend. Other than that, my guess is that the recruiter is somewhere in the group of players that M=W had minimal interaction with, but that's a fairly long list. Interestingly enough, if not for Robo's plausible claim the reread would probably have reinforced my prior suspicion of him. I'm going to leave him on the bubble as a result.

I believe Chrono's still on the table as a possible recruiter. I have several misgivings about his claim of being blocked last night. Going to have a look at gandalf as well, I have a vague sense of scumminess about him but I haven't given him a good read for a while.

Well, it just seems that you've had a "gut based" suspicion of me "that you can't explain" ever since I first started attacking you on day 1.

A thought just struck me: What if it was SINGERSIGNER that was lying about her also-claim of loose cannon?

Here's why I am thinking this:
1) I was tunneling on ooba at the time and didn't think of what if SHE had made it up instead of HIM making it up.
2) She'd probably have already used her shot by now, if she had one. Most new players would have. (<-- this is the kicker)
3) It makes more sense than ooba being scum. I am just suuuuuper paranoid when it comes to him.

I didn't think of this before. But there are always two sides to a coin, so... why not?

I think ooba is a recruiter. Here ooba goes out of his way to say how he is confirmed role based on there not being a counter claim. I don't even see the relevance to the quote in that post as to why he would say that. I think he just wanted to say it to get it out there. Here ooba says he is going back to do a reread looking for two teams of two people, one of less importance. He never did. And now, for a little conspiracy theory, Andy investigated ooba N1, right? Andy was already claimed so it is possible that if there is a doctor Andy would be an obvious target, and since BG Dram probably ate the bullet for Andy, a doctor save would still be active and possibly prevent Andy from dying (if that's what happens when he investigates a recruiter). The fact that Andy got a result that does not indicate alignment is more than mildly concerning, and seems like a godfatherish result.

There are several setup speculations, but I think the kill or recruit each night option seems most likely, with loose canons in the game to give the cults a kill option and a recruit option in the same night.

If ooba started by himself and recruited a loose canon N0 then he would have that relevant information. If he decided to clear himself with the loose canon he could have bypassed the recruit N1 and killed zwet (night action kill) and had his recruited loose canon attempt to kill Andy. I would think that confirming yourself as a specific non recruiting role would be worth passing up a recruit option one night.

Yeah, that whole thing where you accused me of "fluffy accusations on easy targets" was a scummy as hell post on your part. And, yes, it was after "my second and third posts", you are correct. Notice that my third post was the one where I attacked and FOS'd you. This was in my third post:
