Does anyone really think emp is making endgame if he's scum?

This is really a horrible reason to not lynch someone.

Why, exactly, wouldn't empking make it to endgame as scum here? If you're saying that he's not going to make it to endgame because we're eventually going to lynch him because he's acting like scum...then why aren't we lynching him now for acting like scum? Doesn't make sense to me. If you're saying something else, then please spell it out for me.

I mean that, unlike people like snake who have the ability to disappear for pages on end, emp doesn't. We'll get more information as we go. He could easily be scum, but I'm not scared of him just sliding into endgame as others without leaving a trail.

I think you'll find posting a whole lot is actually a scum tell as they tend to overcompensate to try and make themselves look like town by being an active 'scum hunter' then there's the other end of the scale where the lurkers avoid posting to keep their neck out of the noose and be forgotten about.

1) I <3 yos. I was beginning to feel like I was taking crazy pills.
2) AGar, glad we corrected that misunderstanding.

5) Azazel and Antihero lurk like pros. Also, in case anyone forgot, look at their interactions earlier in the day. At least 1 of them is scum, possibly both.

It should be noted, though, that I actually have FEWER posts than UK and Jack.
I have only three mores posts than LynchMePls (22 to 19). Empking, who is "posting too much," has 20 posts to LMP's 19.


Seriously. This guy's suspicions are so fabricated, it's not even funny. His observations are incosnsistent at best. Jack and UK have the most posts in the game.
Yet the results of Snake's "theorem" are that Empking (who is the leading bandwagon) and Glork (who has attacked Snake the hardest) are the two scums.

This is a pretty flawed argument because it ignores the fact that not all VTs are apathetic. The burden of proof is on you to show us that Empking is acting.

OK, whilst I agree with the general idea that as soon as a meta is established, scum will act to subvert that meta, I can't agree with this specific point - I don't think scum will lie about things that can be disproved. A much more likely explanation is that it is an oversight - I don't consider this to be a tell either way.

I wouldn't call Empking obvtown, but I do think Snake's jump on the empwagon is very scummy with his "Empking is posting a lot to overcompensate for being scum" reasoning, particuarly when it isn't borne out either by facts (ie, by counting) or anecdotally (it doesn't even "feel" like Empking is posting excessively).

Empking decided LMP was scum because LMP was defending Jack.
