Meh. When the new guy, what's his name, smashbro came around and asked for people to sign up for night watch, you figured it's just be easier to get the guy off your back and sign. Beefster's Death

Yeah, if you're reading this, it isn't good.

You're sitting down in your kitchen, staring down the bottle that stands on your table, unopened. Multiple times you reach for it, but pull your hand back, knowing that if there is any chance of you helping the town, you'll need to be sober. Picking up the bottle, you move over to the sink and smash it, letting the horrid liquid run down the drain. It's then that you hear a knock on the door.

You go to answer it, and you see a man standing there, bottle in hand.
"Would you like a drink?" he asked, looking curiously at the top of the broken bottle, which you still have in your hand. You invite him in, but refuse the drink, saying that you're going to quit.
"Well that's too bad now, isn't it?" says the man, as he swings the bottle at your face.

You fall to the ground, still gripping onto the broken bottle. Checking your head, you feel blood rushing out, and have blurry vision as you see the man take out a gun. He points it at you and says, "first smashbro. now you. we're off to a good start."

His voice is the last thing you hear before moving on to the afterlife.

Tonight, you vow that you trust the other watcher so much, that you will leave the whole "claimed cop" thing to them, and decide to turn your attention to ooBAZZoo. However, you're not just any watcher. You watch people in style. Tonight, you set up a tent outside of the house, and run an extension cord so that you can watch Monday Night Football. Unfortunately, your team isn't on, but hey, it's better than nothing. Every so often you take a quick peek at the house, but it seems as if

So, upon hearing the claim of Andrew, you decide that it's worth a visit to his house tonight. Armed with birdseed and your binoculars, ready to not only look out for scum, but find friends in the animal kingdom. You sit, indian style, in the grass and stare at the house, birdseed in your open hand. You begin to feel a pecking and look to your hand: there is a bird sitting there, taking the seeds one by one, and hopping away to eat it's meal. One time it goes to get food from your hand, you drop the seeds and catch the terrified bird in your hand and...pet it. As the night wears on, you keep an eye on the house and the bird calls to some of his friends. Eventually, you begin to teach the birds tricks, and begin throwing seeds to them when you hear a gunshot. The birds scatter and you turn your attention back to the house, however, you see no one leaving, and so deduce that

You choose to investigate Jason.

After your first investigation proves to be fruitful, you reveal yourself to the town, and, hey, would you look at that, you caught scum. Buuuuttt....now you probably made a couple enemies in the town. However, you continue on your jolly way, and decide to investigate Jason next. It's easy for you to enter the house because it's always open for whoever will come to his party that night. You see baloons and streamers all around, and easily lose yourself in the ignorant crowd. Upon inspection of the house, you decide that despite the fact that he is armed with snacks and party games (including pin the tail on the donkey, your favorite) you decide that

After long deliberation, you decide to spend your first night with Empking. You're a bit nervous, because you're new to this whole thing, and have only done it once. Still, that time really didn't count because it was only you alone. So, you decide to sneak out of your house, late at night, and secretly gain entrance to his house so that you won't be sleeping alone tonight.

What? I'm still talking about hiding from the mafia here. I don't know what you were thinking. Anyway.

You see that he spends most of his nights on the computer, talking to his friends from home. While on Skype, you hear a bit of the conversation.
Friend: "So, you scared of the Mafia yet? Gonna come running home?"
Empking: "No. Because I AM THE MAFIA PROBLEM!!! MWA HA HA HA!!! But seriously, just kidding, of course I'm staying."
After that sudden shock of the possibility of you hiding with the mafia, you fall asleep, unnoticed by Empking.


You only awake when you hear a gunshot from across the town. Looking up, you see that Empking is now asleep, and decide to return home. Upon entering, you see that the rug is slightly moved, and that a vase which one stood in your hallway lay on the floor in pieces. Smiling to yourself, you have a sudden suspicion that two people didn't have such a good night. Best of all,

You decide to watch Andrew.

And, all goes fine and well to start. You see Andrew safe and sound in his home, with apparently no friends who wanted to visit him, aside from yourself. Munching on Cheetos and drinking some Dr. Pepper, you realize what an easy time you've have this whole game.

After some time, you realize that

no one is going to visit Andrew

and that Andrew is getting packed up to leave. so you just decide to follow him, for the lulz. He bring you...to your house. Thinking you can now work from home, you're happy to see that no one seems to be trying to find Andrew. You watch tv for a few minutes, there's a hockey game on. But it's when you hear a knock on your door that you realize something has been off this whole night.

Thinking about the meta, you know that you shouldn't leave people's houses even if they do. You realize that Andrew leaving, and you following him gave you too much information than you expect to get, based off of the job description. And you realize just in time to see a gun pointing in your face.

However, one person seems to jump on this attacker, and when the attacker pulls the trigger, it only hits your leg. This gives you enough time to see Nameloc on the ground, dazed, but still half smiling that he tried to help. However, the attacker is ready to shoot this time, and with no one interrupting him, is about to take you out. But first, he says, "Doctor? My shotty

is

sick." And proceeds to shoot you.

Dry-fit's watch

You bring not only birdseed tonight, but dog food, and whatever else you believe will be pleasant for the animals to eat. During the first half of the night, you try to be friendly to the animals, and this time not only attract birds, but also squirrels. Everybody there seems to be having a grand ol' time when you remember that you should be watching the house.

It's then that you realize shotty must have sent out an invitation for a party, and only told a few people. You see shotty in his house, but also a few more people. First,

drops out of a tree and scurries into the house, finding a place to hide. Shotty comes back from a night of watching, and sits down to television. After him come both

, one coming in the front door, the other in the back. After a few minutes and a few gunshots, you see shotty and nameloc fall dead, and the other two run off in separate directions.

Andrew's Investigation

Today, you have decided to watch over Dr.myshottyizsik, not only for being bad at spelling, but because he's playing...pretty much like he always does, albeit a little more confusing. Upon entering his house, you smell chips and soda, and see bags lying open around the kitchen. Upstairs, you move onto his room, and see the book,

on his nightstand, but have little time to investigate, because at that point, shotty returns home. You hide in his closet, and come out only when you know he has left the bedroom. His shoes appear to be muddy, and so you conclude,

You decide to climb out of the window, so you wouldn't have to sneak past shotty on the way down, but before leaving, you hear a couple gunshots.

"Crap..." you say to yourself, realizing that this had been a wasteful night.

So, you've claimed. You're doing your job, and you're doing it well, both during the day and at night. Now empking is cleared, you're a practically confirmed town, and you decide that its best to visit shotty. It seems that your timidness about the role you play has gone, knowing full well that if he is lying scum, you might die.

You enter his house, not seeing him at first, and decide to hide behind the couch, right up against the wall of the living room. However, before heading there, you raid the fridge, because hey, you deserve a little something. You make a sub with all of the works, and are prepared to eat it, when you hear the back door open and close. You stay frozen, wondering if it could be mafia, but then you hear the door open and close once again, this time hearing shotty talking to himself. He eventually sits down on the couch and turns on the tv, to a Bruins and Flyers hockey game. You decide to watch it, but when another knock comes from the front door, you realize that you really shouldn't have heard the first person enter the house. because that means you know too much. Which means the inevitable is about to happen.

However, as the mafia member who just broke into the house pointed his gun at shotty, you try to save him by tackling the mafioso. He holds onto the gun however, and shoots shotty quickly. Turning upon you, the mafia member smiles. "Twofer," he says, as he shoots you.

Jason's kill

As you sneak into Andrew's house, you reflect back on your past mafia members. things hadn't been going too well for you team, with the exception of the double kill, but even that had it's consequences. As you look around you don;t see Andrew, until a door opens and closes and you hear Andrew come back from his night action. It seemed like everything is riding on this kill, whether or not this one of Andrew's many gambits or whatever he calls them, were true.

As he enters the living room, where you are, you point a gun at his chest, and demand to know one thing before you shoot him.
"So, what role

you really?"

"Watcher," he replied quickly. "No, rolecop. Vanilla townie. I got it. Mafia. Definitely mafia."



Knowing that you would never get a straight answer from him, you decide to shoot, and after searching the body, find a badge...

Dry-fit's watch

You decide to watch Andrew.

As you travel to Andrew's house, you see Andrew leave it, and follow him to where he was going. It turned out that he had decided to use his action on you tonight.

"Thanks for saving my butt back there...I think," you say to him, when you finally catch up.
"No problem. As long as it confuses the mafia, we're good."
"So...I guess you should be going back now? I still have to watch you tonight."
"Sure, sounds good to me." The two of you walk back to his house, ready to spend a relaxing night.

Sitting outside, you call back all of your animal friends, and this time, not only is it birds and squirrels, but wolves too. They seem to be tame, and take to you quickly, but scatter quickly when they hear a gunshot from within Andrew's house.

You decide to ... watch Dry-Fit? I'll take that as an investigate.

As you travel to Dry Fit's house, you can't help but wonder how all of your...gambits worked so well this game, whatever they were. You claimed every town power role aside from hider, and given the chance, you would have probably done that too.

Upon entering the house, you see that he is a fan of nature, with birdseed and animal food all around. But most important, you do not see him there, obviously out on his watching crusade. Of course he could have been mafia. Aside from the note scribbled on the board, "watch andrew tonight." Turning around, you are face to face with...Dry-Fit.

"Thanks for saving my butt back there...I think."

starting out, i thought that the mafia was gonna win, so i wanted to root for town, but as the game went on, i wanted the mafia to pull out a win. what really screwed the mafia was the power roles making great choices. while setting up, i found it interesting that both andrew and shotty got powerroles, since usually they are considered VI's and therefore, mafia tend to keep them around.

on Day 1, things went pretty smoothly. it was unfortunate for the mafia that Joystick got caught, and andrew put the nail in the coffin. kinda surprised that you revealed on day 1, but if it took down a mafioso and there were watchers, then it was a good move.

as for Night 1, it was the chance for mafia to get ahead. it was a good choice to kill nameloc, ever since the beginning of the game, i saw him as obvtown, surprised no one watched him (though Dry-fit watched andrew, understandable). just unlucky for them that nameloc was hider.

Day 2 starts, and to be honest, even though shotty claimed watcher, i would have wanted to lynch him, based on how scummy he was acting. i'm sorry dude, but as i read, i couldn't help wanting to vote for you. In the end, the Antihero wagon won out, a break for the scum.

Night 2...party at shotty's. everyone with a night action targeted shotty, aside from shotty. Scum got a twofer, but lost someone while doing that. If i were them, i would have avoided shotty since it was an obvious trap.

Day 3 and 4 went by very fast, with good reason.

Night 3 happened like it thought it would.




andrew.........your first two investigation were mafia members. if you had been an actual cop...good choices. still, good choices, even though you only got to use one of them. as for your gambit...that was great. amazing play. and knowing that you pull gambits off all the time, it was even more believable.

oh, and i really liked writing the flavor for nameloc and Dry-Fit, if you're reading the results.

yeah, once or twice I did decide to let the watcher see a little more than should have.

first case is shotty, following you back to his house, and finding out Nameloc was a hider. I would not have normally put that in, but shotty died that night, so i figured i would let it happen.

also, for Dry-fit on the last night, i let him know that you had visited him. considering that you were going to die that night, and he would watch JasonT leave as the last mafia member, i let it happen too.

i didn't think it would interfere with the game because of the deaths, so that's pretty much the only reason.
