Then that means I'm confirmed. I still think Locke is scum.

I guess it's Hail Mary time (anyone remember that Colts game when Jim Harbaugh was still the QB? Or is my age showing?). VOTE: Locke

had to know the first loss was coming eventually... terrible way for it to happen though. My bad for throwing to CT, I was expecting 2 TEs in the setup and wanted the free yards

had i thought about the possibility of you throwing to the TE i probably wouldnt have tried forcing you to come out. but i have to say that we had some really bad town that make scum hunting hard.
we had all the oppurtunity to win this game on the last day but there was so many things locke/ragz did that was scummy and kdub never supported inhim or shotty.

but i guess in locke's defense mari was even scummier but she lucked out with the confirmable role. had she not been confirmed it would have been a much longer day.

I ended up catching this one during a "none of my games are doin stuff" phase and I really liked the setup.

Well played Kdub. Mad props for that performance.

It would have been nice if you'd given me the time to actually fight my corner. It really wouldn't have killed you to give me a chance to at least respond once the mod had clarified.

That said, I really wasn't at high activity levels this game, so I apologise for that. I honestly couldn't decide about inHim yesterday; the speed of the votes going on made me think scum but I didn't have much of a scumread on Raj or Jim, which meant inHim had to be scum. I do think putting Shotty under pressure at the stage I did would have been a pretty reckless play as scum, though - mongoose was guaranteed to vote Shotty to save himself and that made the wagon a very viable alternative. I might have done it to a goon but it would have been stupid to do it to the linebacker. I have now learnt that Mari always thinks I'm scum, so next time I'll have to work harder to convince her otherwise :P Well played to Kdub, he stayed off the radar and ended up with a pretty easy endgame there.

Great setup, Charter. Using the points for abilities was a cool idea and the game worked nicely.

For the record, I molded my play into giving Kdub the best chance to win. He did an excellent job taking it home. I didn't think we had a chance when we lost our Linebacker and couldn't even trade him for a QB or TE.

Well, that wasn't how we drew up the gameplan but it worked out I suppose. Since we knew the makeup of our scum powers, I suspected that there was no FB or second TE in the game due to balance reasons. I was actually thinking raj was the QB after Anti flipped and didn't suspect jim until raj started dropping hints that he wasn't the QB. I actually don't know how we scored points on N3 when jim threw to inHim because I tried to intercept Mari that night. Me bussing inHim just kinda happened because nobody else other than Anti really suspected him early in the game, so I figured I could just vote him and not really worry about getting him lynched since mongoose and horror were more suspicious to the town, but still get town credit later if he died. Losing the LB on D1 was a tough break for us, but we probably got lucky that the D2 wagon ended up being on the TE, which forced Travis to claim. If somebody else had been the TE instead, we probably would have lost.

Don't take it personally. This game, I was convinced Razgriz was scum based on his play and you just got the raw end of the stick. Your lurking added to it and so on. The other game, the lurking didn't help and Katy's insistence that you were not her mason buddy was a huge strike.

On a completely unrelated note... I decided Locke is a great name for the evil military commander in my novel. :P

Town kind of had two power roles. The TE, obviously, and the QB acted like a weak cop. They could confirm some people (WR's, RB, TE) as town and the CB acted like a framer. The offensive guards and tackles and defensive tackle acted like investigation immune townies,
I'll think about running it as a large, it's quite complicated (as seen by messing up the night actions the last night) and I don't have much free time. Inhim also PM'ed me after he died, about how he intercepted the ball, but it said in his PM he couldn't handle the ball. I meant that to mean he couldn't recover fumbles, and he would be able to intercept, but my PM was very unclear. I don't think it affected anything, though.

As far as setup stuff, I kind of just hoped no one would ask "what if ...." basically anything, because there really was no good way to have multiple TE's using a common pool of points. I'm not sure how to balance that out in a large where there would be multiple PRs. Other things, the QB keeping the ball really doesn't do anything, I couldn't think of anything clever for that (other than getting sacked, which doesn't provide much incentive to do it). If anyone has any brilliant ideas for how to resolve these questions (or other things you thought of) please let me know, it will greatly aide a future large game with these mechanics.

Gameplay wise, I thought it was unfortunate that the Linebacker was lynched day one, bye bye mafia PR, and the Tight End was killed night two so the points wound up being mostly for show. I actually meant to start both sides out with 7 points, but I forgot about it until like mid day one, and then I figured it was too late. I think Kdub did a good job for the scumteam, but he had a lot of help from the town, but none from shotty.

Role wise, Kdub was a Cornerback, Mari was the Running Back, Raj was a Wide Receiver, and the rest you all know.
Night actions:
Jimfinn passed to Antihero night one.
Inhim killed Ghostwriter night one.
Kdub tried to intercept Locke night one.

Jimfinn passed to Coach Travis night two.
Inhim killed Coach Travis night two.
Kdub tried to intercept Mari night two.

Jimfinn passed to Inhim night three.
Inhim killed Antihero night three.
Kdub tried to intercept Mari night three.

Jimfinn killed night four.

And that's a lot of stuff, plenty for right now.
