The more power is in town's hand, the more town can force the action of players.
Town force players to commit to their reads.
Also, you are totally overrating "committing to reads". If scum-tribune has to choose whether to save or not someone, he/she just play it easy and do what town wants. You cannot accuse someone of doing what the majority of the town wants.
You're damn straight any tribunal or consul is going to get shit from me if they try and excuse any decision by saying it was what the majority wanted.

Sens, do you believe that either Jack or I will be confirmed as scum by Day 2?

If yes, why would you want either one of us to be a tribunal today? I understand that there is some merit to the testing how potential scum will act as a tribunal idea, but why bother risking it when it's going to be confirmed the next day anyway? If I was scum, knew my cover was going to be blown the next day, and received tribunal power, I would just veto any execution for the sake of either saving a scummate or causing a bunch of confusion. I don't see how that helps the town at all.

Glrok: Target is an accepted alternative means of indicating execution by the bye, but only if properly spelled (ie. Glrok).

Way to completely remove the shock value of the plan I asked you via AIM and spent 20 minutes formatting in the notepad file on my desktop.

Also, I strongly suggest that someone inform chesskid of the fact that if he pushes me too far, I
will
submit a Glroking of him, even though the day is an hour and a half old.

If no one vetoes this, chesskid3 will be executed on Monday, 18:07 GMT or sooner if chamber, Primate and Nathanael waive their right to veto.

mod, if I veto this execution now, can the same person be executed later? e.g. could I later execute chesskid?

chesskid, give me a good reason to Veto your execution.
1. why is Rabies scum?
2. why is powerrox scum?
3. do you think I am scum?
4. do you think it is town's best strategy to self-vote as tribune in the beginning?
5. do you think Lowell is scum?
6. How many scum do you think there are?
7. If you were tribune and SensFan were not a consul, would you veto an execution on him?
8. Who out of {Jack, ribwich} do you think is the real consulmaker?

mod, another question: can a consul veto his own execution (=the one he proposes), e.g. could SensFan veto the chesskid-execution now?

If chesskid really dazzles me with his play in the next 40 hours, I'll be around Monday morning to veto the execution. And yes, I did check with the Mod that I can do that.

Honestly, I don't really care if you don't, because then there would be TWO fail consuls who would never get to be consul again. Consider it a community service.

That being said:
1. Try reading his posts. It's rather obvious.
2. 0 content, butt-shaped seat on his fence.
3. no
4. yes, provided they would make a good tribune (cough, NOT LOWELL)
5. He's always scum. If he's scum, he's actual scum. If he's town, he plays anti-town anyway.
6. 4-5.
7. Hell no.
8. Ribwich, but Jack ain't scum sooooooooooo go figure.

Now for you, the following question:
How were questions 3,4,6 at all useful? Asking me how many scum I think there are is inviting a random fucking detour on some irrelevant fucking thing which nobody but the scum know. And if I did flip scum, you still wouldn't know how many scum there were, because I *gasp* would probably be lying as scum?

You would be able to execute chesskid3 later and Consuls can execute their own executions.

I'll amend my ruleset to clarify that consular vetoes apply to specific execution attempts while tribunal vetoes last the day. Amusingly, neither question came up during the original Consulmaker simply due to lack of vetoing.

Nope. If CK starts actually being productive, rather than emoing and VIing like he has all game, I'm totally cool with leaving him alive for now.
