Good boy.
Now see, Implosion... Had you not claimed immediately, we wouldn't have ANY FUCKING TIME WHATSOEVER to push a lynch, and then we would've sloppily ended up on someone.

Fate, where now?

I've played games where I my mason partner/one of my mason partners was actually a mafia member or an SK. So I ask the mods if my mason partner is aligned with me every time I play a mason, just to be sure.

The point was that if there weren't going to be enough people to lynch him... HE WOULDNT HAVE HAD TO CLAIM AT ALL.

I didn't understand what implosion meant when he said 'mason with ghost' i didnt realize he was talking about ghostwriter... i thought it was some kind of crazy game flavor. i understand now.

except i really dont understand why GW would push him for a claim... knowing that he is town (if you're telling the truth) and knowing that there may not be enough support for his lynch. why the hell wouldn't you try to move the lynch somewhere else? unless i'm missing something, that seems really stupid to do what you did. it's possible im missing something, i guess.

HE. WAS. GOING. TO. BE. DEADLINE. LYNCHED.

What you are missing, Podium, is that while you were pushing for two other lynches, people were not following you. Implosion was STILL the main lynch. Which meant, come deadline, he was going to die. Had I tried steering it away from him, someone would link us, but not as masons, saying I was chainsaw defending him. Most likely, it would have been you or Zd to do it. Probably you. So, instead, the better thing is to just let the claim happen early enough for the wagon to be shifted.

You're assuming that support exists for his lynch. If there weren't enough support for the lynch, it wouldn't have happened... there's still like 10 days left till deadline. You guys are living in a different world than me, if you consider 10 days ZOMG-ITS-DEADLINE-HURRY-time!!!

But, based on what i've seen so far with this town's scumhunting abilities, the support probably would have come.

Good job all you pro scum hunters on his wagon.

Implosion hadn't really pinged my scumdar during reread, but his recent posts have indeed been bad. Coupled with the fact that my strongest Town read thinks it's a good avenue of inquiry I am inclined to lend him my support, and hopefully in the process move implosion out of the ??? category one way or the other. (It also gives me a chance to see how Fate acts with more blind votes behind him) An implosion votes seems a sufficient info gathering action, prompting me to go for it since I didn't have any more promising alternatives in mind. (As I said, I am caught up, but have only begun analysis)
I feel no need for my vote to be restricted to players I already think are scummy.

This is something I can get behind for a D1 lynch. After all, it's about getting information, right VB?

Well there was some, but then I saw your flip in SuperHero and I realized that you weren't scum.

Masons are always naturally scummy to me though. Their play is always tinged with a (well I have ___ to back me up, so I don't need to do things I normally would do as town).

And if implosion HADNT claimed flavor cop it would make scum WIFOM about whether to kill the masons or go for a more dangerous PR. C'est la vie though...

You're assuming Fate has the same meager lynch-pushing skills you have. But Fate knows how to get a lynch. And if he wanted the lynch, then he would've gotten the lynch. So all not claiming immediately would've served in is a loss of time.
podium wrote:there's still like 10 days left till deadline.
Exactly. And it's better to look for wagoning alternatives in 10 days as opposed to, oh, I don't know, one. Since the number 10 is bigger and thus better than the number 1.

L-2 with MoI willing to hammer and Zdenek willing to deadline hammer, means doing this early was precisely the way to go.

If he had believed you to be scummy, you'd likely be dead by now. Not going to lie, his ability with wagons is outrageous and sometimes annoying, bu never deniable.
