Damn you, RC. We almost attempted to kill you last night, but instead opted for killing Yos2. I was RBed twice. I'm going to go ahead and fill in some of the gaps that Yos2 hasn't said since my recruiter is dead. It is a recruit or kill mechanic. Recruiting happens "instantly" so if the recruiter sends it in immediately at night that person immediately comes in to the fold. Next, Prozac's RB functions somewhat as a JKer because the nights he RBed me I wasn't allowed to talk to the membership in the QT, not even to say I couldn't talk to them.

Anyone on the recruiting team can do the kill.
The recruiter can give away his teams next night kill or recruit in exchange to remove a vote on the recruiter. This can be done everyday.
We were also given a couple fake names to use as necessary.
We do not have daytalk.

RC is most likely an investigator because I guarded Faraday on N0 and he was turned away at the door. I also know that Me=Weird was recruited N0 so it isn't a recruiting mechanism.
Andy - why didn't you investigate Flameaxe last night when you were told to do so?

Don't worry, I'm not going to go all Yos2 on everyone because my team has nothing to lose now that my recruiter is dead. It is in my teams best interest to have me function as if I was town and help find the other recruiter today.

k, I got my investigation result this morning when I logged on. checking the timestamps revealed that Flay sent it 11 minutes after he opened the topic, or, 6 minutes after I posted (and 10 minutes before Andrius posted). seeing what xvart says about scum not having daytalk, that makes sense. because if Flay doesn't want scum to have the results of the night before (if they have investigative roles, which I strongly suspect is the case), then the only way to do that would be to lock the quicktopic, unlock the game topic, post the results, and then send all the investigations (super-tinfoil, but I think I'm right).

second order of business: darox (almost 100% sure) got recruited last night, so you can't take anything he says at face value any more. xvart said it's kill or recruit, and obviously his faction can't recruit now with their recruiter dead, so they tried to kill yos, which failed. both Chrono and Porochaz blocked him. lawlz. one or both of them are scum, imo, but it's possible that at least one of them is town.

my two guesses for recruiter were flameaxe and xvart, and andrius was supposed to investigate flameaxe, so I was gonna investigate xvart. however, I was more sure about flameaxe, so I investigated him. It's just as well, because andrius investigated xvart and not flameaxe. so, lawlz again, and FOS at Andrius for not investigating who he was supposed to.

now to the juicy stuff: WIFOM.

2. mod-WIFOM: i investigated flameaxe to be TOWN, and was very surprised, mostly because it does NOT match andrius' investigation on quag. I also did not get any 'bodyguard' flavor. I also did not get any 'prostitute' flavor. but given what we know about all of the other players, (and assuming we trust andrius' investigation on xvart), flameaxe is pretty much the only one left. but... the investigation doesn't match with andrius' from yesterday, so... i am forced to assume that flameaxe is either NOT a recruiter, OR, that recruiters only appear guilty when they are doing something eeeevil, like recruiting or killing (something I have heard of before, but have not seen in practice in an actual game). so... would Flay put that into the game? after reading parts of the Lost Boys mafia game, I'm inclined to believe that Flay might very well have put that into the game. I am not in Yos2's Cult. My guess is that if they were successful in recruiting every night they are at most two recruits ahead of us. Also, I went back and checked; the recruiters will not be found guilty by any investigation methods unless the recruiter commits a kill. I missed this the first time around because it was mixed in with the name claims when I was spouting off the Recruiter abilities.

I'll probably put together some suggestions on who I think is on the other team later tonight. I just want to make sure that by doing so I don't give away the farm on my Cult's membership base or make sure the other Cult doesn't get information about my team, first.

I trust little of what xvart said. Whether he is in the large or small cult is irrelevant. Because Yos claimed he was the "smaller cult" but xvart claimed "dead recruiter" so we have some discrepancies. I distrust his claim that he tried to kill RC, because, well, if xvart is going down it'll make RC look more town that he isn't. (If you're town, forgive me. But I can't assume you are because of Harry Potter Mafia.)

Again, I must have missed the memo. I was too wrapped around hunting down all my D1 scumreads. I DID choose between Flameaxe and xvart, but xvart was a scum read from D1 and Ani was just off.

At any rate, Poro is not a recruiter. Because Flay confirmed two females, and if no one else claims RB then it has to be Poro and Chrono, making them FEMALE and not the Don's SONS.

So we're looking at: Darox, Flameaxe, Robo as my Recruiter suspects. *sigh* And no, I'm not trusting RC's reads at this point.
The best thing that could have happened was RC getting killed, then I would actually TRUST his reads without a doubt.

Ugh. I want to trust Chrono. I really do. But I've seen him actually TRY as non-town and he can be pretty good. Stunningly good. So I'm a tad wary of him.

Well we can have the conversation about how you can't trust the information I have, but I have provided information about the Cults that Yos2 has not. He can confirm or deny any of it if he wishes, but I know some pretty specific details that have been discussed before. Yos2 is not in my group, that much I know. I also know that we didn't recruit last night because Quag was dead, so we are at the very least one recruit behind if his group was perfectly successful. Knowing some other inside information I know that we are at least one member behind on top of that, but I am being specifically vague in this area because I don't want the other Cult to have specific information about how big my team is.

My recruiter is dead. My Cult is at a disadvantage now if collectively we don't get the other recruiter today.

As for killing RC; I said I thought about it because I knew he was instructed to investigate me. I tried to kill Yos2 because he was the only confirmed person from the other Cult and we couldn't risk not hitting Cult and considering the field of possible Cults is pretty small I am betting we lynch the other recruiter today. Regardless, I wasn't able to do anything last night because two luscious ladies left me buckling at the knees all night.

The reason Yos2 can self censure is his group is in a better position than mine. I have to provide information that will help the town because the only chance we have is collaborating. Trust me, Yos2's Cult is more than likely bigger than my Cult or at least of equal size, depending on their luck recruiting.

So you think it's 3-3-5 right now? That'd make sense with what xvart said about the other cult having 2 more than his. So who do you think is in which cult and etc, based on my results and yours? And I, too, am interested to know whether M=W was a cross-kill or whether he was a loose cannon's shot (claimed or not).

I would also like to say that for the most part, I am taking everything xvart says at face value, because it doesn't behoove him (at ALL) to lead the town to lynch one of their own. Therefore he is obviously firmly in the "let's lynch the final recruiter" camp, as am I. The only thing I have qualms about is whether or not Flameaxe IS actually the last recruiter, or whether xvart only THINKS he is, and is therefore tailoring his comments (the most spurious of which I've quoted above) specifically to make the town lynch who HE believes is the recruiter. Aside from my result on Flameaxe, I would be 100% in the "lynch Flameaxe" camp.

@xvart: What insight can you shed on the situation about why there was bodyguard flavor for Quag and not for Flameaxe? Had you been specifically bodyguarding Quag to make sure he wasn't NK'd by some unclaimed loose cannon or the other cult?

Yes, we still have a recruiter alive, but your group is certainly larger then mine. You guys killed off Me=Weird, probably with an unclaimed loose cannon you recruited early, so that put you 1 guy ahead. And we've almost certainly failed more then you have, and I'm pretty sure you know it. If you guys killed off ooba, you clearly must have known you were far enough ahead that you could give up recruitments in order to take potshots at people.

Anyway, you guys don't have a recruiter now, which pretty much makes you a standard mafia group. The biggest threat to your cult isn't us, now; you still outnumber us, we can't recruit you, and if you're as large as I think you are there probably aren't all that many pro-town people left to be recruited anyway, so the lack of your recruiter hardly matters anymore. The biggest threat to your cult is the surviving pro-town power roles. If you get rid of us, how well do you think a standard mafia group going to do against 2 cops and 2 roleblockers in endgame?

And I am still WIFOMing about whether Robocopter is telling the truth either, or whether "cult doc" is simply a fakeclaim. It's really burning me up now that he's been claiming to have been "protecting" Andrius this whole time, and Andrius has now fed us a cult recruiter, so to speak.

Robocopter could still easily be the other recruiter as well, and could have recruited Andrius at any point in the game at his leisure (since the other cult probably made sure to stay away from him due to him being protected against recruiting). Andrius not wanting to trust me feels less like genuine mistrust, and feels more like an elaborate ruse that he's been pulling over my ears this entire time so that after the game he can make me feel like an idiot when his cult wins.

I mean; is it just me? I have been accepting Robo's "cult doc" claim as a "too ridiculous to be a fakeclaim" kind of thing... but if it actually IS a fakeclaim (I don't recall, was it solicited? Or was it out of the blue? That could also point to Robo being a recruiter and not what he says he is) then we are all idiots and we deserve to be laughed at.


On second thought, and after seeing Yos' ninja just now, I bet that both cults have at least 4, and are trying to make the other cult feel like they're both smaller than they actually are. My guesses are 5-5-1 or 5-4-2, or maybe even 4-4-3...
