I'm treating 50% as in 50/50 as in "not sure" as in either way...?

Just cause there are 2 options doesn't mean each is equally likely (50/50) the default is 25/75 and opinions should influence that number not 50/50.

But if it's a sliding scale of my opinion, with 0% being confirmed town and 100% being confirmed scum, isn't 50% naturally the place to put the "I don't know" marker?

@chamber: is it scummy to use a scale that starts at 50?

I like RF now, and won't be hammering him any time soon.

VOTE: Antihero

/in b4 "you skipped over others" and "do you think chamber is town now?"

25% is the only palce to put the 'I don't know' marker. Well , working from the current list, removing the dead town and yourself, 33% would be the only place.

25% is the place to put it if we're talking about how "likely" it is, but not for opinions, which is why I asked for clarification :S

So in your terms, it's between 25-75% that people are placed? RF at 30%, you at 55%. I prefer my first one since that's the one I can conceptualise better.

Pretty sure the monty hall problem isn't applicable here, but I'm no math expert so I could be wrong. Thanks AV.

Kast: AV's initial vote was townish, particularly blatant looking rolefishing usually isn't rolefishing at all (though chamber is making me wonder). Last point adds nothing.

On "LACVT" it's risk-reward. Running anyone else up risks outing another power role. I tend to lean to 'Don't autolynch VTs you were..

I have in the past said 'We've got to lynch this VT claim, because we've already outed too many PR.' Plus, premature claims are scummy.

Still catching up (five pages :emote: ) but 1817 - Did it turn out to be a good move?

1707 - lrn2hyperbole
1708 - Very calm collected approach is not the first thing people think of when they think "scum"...

To that end I agree with 1722 reg. of your alignment.

1725 - Saying there's nothing to go on in a game with the longest Day 1 in site history (look it up) is a cop-out.

Lack of irony in 1743/4 is noted. :emote:
