Well durr. He's playing like an idiot and trying to make himself look like scum with Kats by delaying the lynch as much as possible, knowing that he can't get lynched today. If Kats flips town after several execution delays, he gets townpoints for delaying the lynch. If he flips scum before Kats dies, Kats looks like obvious scum to him because of how much he delayed the lynch.

Good plan in theory, except that EVERYONE DOES IT and he played it quite poorly, producing the opposite effect intended - Kats is obvtown in the event of a Tasky scumflip, and Tasky himself is quite obvious scum.
