Firefighter protects people from SPECIFICALLY arsonist kills.
I do not doubt we have an arsonist in this game (see N1 kill flavor) but I highly doubt we have a firefighter to counter it.

I find Zdenek's claim believable.
also, Parama, your whole attack on Zdenek crumbles, as it was mostly based on his connection with nexus. this is now obviously BS, since he is either a SK or town.

Giving a counterpoint to the firefighter (the SK) would be shockingly unfair towards him. It would hardly be unfair to the arsonist, just look at how long it's taken for it to become clear that there is one, and adding a protective role helps make the game less swingy (I would guess).

Zdenek - if you're actually firefighter, claiming in your very first post tells the game that there's an arsonist, which wouldn't have been known by the town otherwise. That's indeed unfair to the arsonist. In a Mini Normal, SKs should not have counter-roles and should be AT LEAST investigation immune and probably NK-immune in some way as well.

I really doubt the first one, and therefore the second has to be the right one. It would totally not exclude a firefighter.
think about it, what's the point of making a arsonist, if you don't have a firefighter? why not just make a normal SK?

what do you think about the possibility that scum might kill by setting fire?

That would make perfect sense. If there is a scum which side-ability is to kill with fire, that would mean Zdenek can be scum, since he was scumbuddying with Nexus, and that would also make perfect sense, as he knew making a Firefighter claim could save him or kill him. Also, how do you own that information?

Elaborate please?

Neutrality has been my view on kill flavours ever since... well, it must be almost a year now. Parama can tell you more if he wishes; I won't bore you with the details. The point is, kill flavours can vary mainly from mod-to-mod, and they shouldn't be relied on too heavily.

I think this is a safe question to ask.

Mod: Can you tell us if your kill flavours are relative to roles, or if they are purely sporadic?
