Late in the evening, those of you who were actually sleeping hear a commotion down the hall. With weary familiarity, everyone grabs their sidearm and converges on the living room, where you see

With a disbelieving stare on his face, you see Andrius get onto his knees and face the wall. A single shot to the base of the neck ends his inquisitive and desperate search for peace.

Flameaxe turns with a small smile on his face, and holsters his gun. "Ah - this saves me the trouble of waking you. Good. Lord Gurgi, I'd like to make you an offer. Past sins will be forgiven, even including your rather lackluster efforts to extract yourself of the Family. All I ask is that you sign up now, and help eliminate my brother's remaining associates." Gurgi quickly agrees, looking around to see what else will happen.

Flameaxe turns then to singersigner. "As for you... will also join me unreservedly, and help reunify this family before another dawn?" singer shrugs. "If there's somebody who needs killing, I'm your man."

Flameaxe's smile grows a little larger. "Precisely the case, in fact. I was certain that when this whole debacle started, and my father - may his soul rest in peace - was murdered by those filthy townies, I would come out on top. My name, you see... it means 'victory'. And for that to be achieved, I need remove only one more obstacle:

eh, good game scum I guess. I thought the town played pretty poorly for the most part. friend lynch in particular was spectacularly bad.

don't think I'll play a cult game, I don't really like the thought of my town reads changing alignment, as I mostly scumhunt through process of elimination. think my v/la really hurt me here, and couldn't ever really get back in the game after that.

Finally I get to play a game as cult leader, and I get to win the game too!

As for the recruitment at the end, Flay sent me a PM last night asking how I would like to "deal with" the remaining players if we hit endgame. Essentially, we actually recruited prozac for the majority last night, and I told Flay to recruit Gurgi and Singer to the cult.

Our cult has known about xvart since night three, actually. He was our only failed recruit choice, so he had to go. I thought I remembered something about Andy not wanting to be recruited and to die with the town, so I respected those wishes. If I'm totally imagining this, Andy, feel free to give me shit.

In case anyone was wondering, we basically sheeped RC's innocents night after night after we failed on xvart. We thought the other cult was a bit bigger, so we didn't risk straying from that. In addition, Ani recruited Seraphim N0, and later it was discovered that Erg0 also tried to recruit him, so again, we knew we had a leg up on the other cult right off the bat. I'll let you guys read all of our "other cult" speculation in the QT (I have no qualms at all to reveal it, Flay).

Xvart: We're you the only recruit in the purple cult?

I'll explain better.

Flay asked what to do with the remaining players if we hit endgame, kill or recruit. Basically, if we didn't hit endgame, Gurgi and Singer would still be town, and we would have quicklynched xvart for a win. Then they would join the cult in endgame, Andy and xvart would get kill-endgamed as normal.

Good game, all. Yes, I was the only successful recruit on the purple team. Erg0 attempted to recruit Me=Weird N0 and failed. He recruited me N1 and we figured that the failure was due to Me=Weird being the recruiter so we took a chance to try and cut the head off the snake their and did not recruit in favor of the kill. He was not the recruit so we knew that he was the N0 recruit...

Ergo0 tried to recruit Flameaxe the next night which failed. Then Erg0 wasn't around so I killed ooba. Then quag died and the rest is history. For the other Cult, if we had lynched Flameaxe yesterday I assume you still would have killed me? I was trying to let loose some stuff about other people that I didn't think were recruited at all that might tie them to me in hopes you might kill them and leave me alive as some bait to fish out the others...

I never even submitted an action last night because I was RBed again, but I was going to kill Flameaxe...

This was my first game with a Cult in it so it was a really different experience for me. I don't think I would like it in a standard game but knowing it was there when I signed up didn't affect my view of the game. I thought it was pretty fun up until the point when my teammate(s) weren't really around. Once they were dead I livened up again since I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I really couldn't tell if Yos2 was telling some version of the truth with his "we are small, woe is us" jibberish. I was hoping they had failed at recruiting as much as he was implying because that was the only shot I had. Why did you guys never recruit Robo?

If I was lynched, I would have bribed someone off my lynch, and we would have majority then. If it failed for whatever reason, yes, you we're the essential target. It would have been cooler if no one got a guilty on you, and we just magically got it though, haha. We went after prozac (too late in the game, imo you were so obvtown in my eyes) and blocked two of the three we suspected to have any chance of being in your cult. I had a good idea that the kill would come from you given that the plan at the end of the day happened to not have your name on it, but it turns out it had to come from you...Personally, and I might even speak for my own recruits here too, I am shocked that you were the only recruit. I was expecting at least one more in the grouping of [gurgi/singer], if not both. We guessed your actions for each night minus the failures though.

To be honest, our main reason for avoiding robo was the fact the we tried to outguess your recruiter, and assumed he was going to recruit him. Our choices around the time I replaced in really boiled down to that. Once RC started getting innocents, we submitted within hours of night starting for that person, and proceeded to discuss where our power roles would shoot.

I loved the game. The players towards the end sucked, to be frank. I hated how all the remaining town LURKED LIKE A FUCKFEST. Poro, singer, Gurgi, SERIOUSLY. WTF.
I played my goddamn hardest towards the end, and had it down to Flameaxe and Robo. I buckled under pressure though, and the only townies left lurked and were no help WHATSOEVER.

*sigh* It sucked. Big time. Because all the townies left lurked so you put me in a room with all cultists and EXPECTED ME TO LYNCH THEIR RECRUITER?!?
YEAH. LIKE THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN.

I would like to apoligize to: Faraday, Friend, and gandalf, for not working harder for preventing your lynch. I elected to die over be recruited BECAUSE I'd be betraying all of you who flipped green by leaving you.

Best parts about this game:
My play D5-D6. The heavy flavor. Flay. Joking with Flay. Flay confusing me and me realizing I was just being stupid. Playing with certain people. Playing with some "oldies". Meeting new people.

Needs Improvements:
Poro, Gurgi, singer lurking when I needed them most.

Things I dislike with a passion:
RC's town-town tunnel-fest on me D1. Seriously, there was no pro-town reason to do that.

I loved the cult game, and while it was frustrating later on, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and will be more than happy to put another loss in the town column in order to remain true to my faction. Game has definitely inspired me to play better, and to mod better (something you'll see pretty soon).

Will wait for Flay's into-post.

I honestly got so frustrated with RC that I complained about him more than once, (I think, I definitely complained once) and sucked the life out of the game for me. I stopped wanting to be involved. It was his aim however and he did apologise to me in the QT.

This, so hard this. I originally wanted to join this game to play with people I haven't played with in a long time, but the real surprise of this game was how much I enjoyed playing with those of you I really haven't met yet. Seriously, I would join a game with this playerlist again in a heartbeat.

Flay: You did a fantastic job, as always. The flavor was great, the setup was great, the game ran very smoothly. PS: Lets make the post-game discussion longer than Lost Boys post-game.

Sorry about the replace-out. I got really slammed with looking for a job and this game was definitely one too many. Glad my scumdar still works. I followed this pretty religiously and thought the game was a nifty read.
