No idea. However, it doesn't help town nor does it hurt scum. If Tsq is town, I want him to be able to use it to help town or hurt scum.CooLDoG wrote:How would him giving up his flavor help the scum? Excluding any silly roles.

It will help the town if it reveals that he is in fact scum, and would thus hurt the scum... And the exclusion of silly roles is simply to prevent some bullshit answer (like, ohh the scums have a role that if a players flavor is revealed they get a 1-shot day ending vig power!) , not that you gave one.after a wank.-

I still don't understand CooLDoG's flavor push. Why should TSQ give scum ideas on how to write fakeclaims?

Anybody can theoretically say "I am chain X." But it takes brainpower to fake "I am chain X, which has such and such a reputation, does such and such stuff, or whatever I figure the mod would have written up." I am referring to this brainpower, of which it takes less if scum has a model.Chronopie wrote:

i understand Cool's logic, ive gotten into that trap before.
hes scummy because he wont claim, he wont claim because he hasnt done anything scummy.
yes it was the correct move to come clean early instead of waiting for a cop claim to come guilty and outs both of them.
ok, what if shea claims his role, and one of us townspeople actually have that role. we counterclaim him and then the next night a confirmed townie dies.
its better for him to use his role to try to trip scum up when they claim.Showhttp://kysurvivorfreak.blogspot.com/

@Rajrh, exactly. Finally some body begins to understand my point about this.
@SC,After the first flip the scum will have ideas on how to fake claim. And most of the time scum is not lynched on d-1.
@inhim, I'm will talk in circles until you understand my point. We know how his flavor could help the town. We don't know if it could help the scum at all.after a wank.-

When people make posts like this, I'm inclined to take them up on it.Thestatusquo wrote:It's cool that you want flavor. Unfortunately, I'm the one whos opinion matters about what I think is most helpful for the town from my standpoint. If you think I'm scummy, string me up. Backtrack of AntB (agree with raj AntB is fishy as well), weak-ankled stances, and a completely terrible vote.

Thanks for your response to my post 182. But do you have anything to say about 181? I find it odd that you just chose to respond to the second minor post, completely ignoring the first.Chronopie wrote:I reaffirm my vote. How's that?
@IHSIB, could you please elaborate on your suspicion of ConfidAnon? You bring interesting points, but you only briefly explain them in 218. I know your catching-up, but you got to back up those statement. I'd like to see support for his "weak-ankled stances". He definitely caved quickly with AntB, I'd have to read him closer (and have more content to read) in order to to getter a better handle on if his actions are scum-motivated or not.
Regarding his vote for me, I interpreted it as a "hey, you haven't posted in 4 days, 3.5 pages, be useful". With the lack of explanation, and no longer in RVS, I didn't take it as a meaningful vote. On the other hand, it's been 3 days since his last post (and vote for me).
I hope you don't talk in circles until he (or someone else) understands your point. Basically, not everyone agrees with the second part (that it could help town, but we don't know if it could help scum). Some people see it in other ways. I doubt you will get much further in this (probably more geared towards a theory debate anyways), and, at this point, it's distracting us from other events and cases being built. It's safe to say that enough has been said on this issue that people came make up their minds if TSQ's refusal to reveal flavour is scummy (or not), and whether your incessant push for it is (or isn't). I sincerely hope your next post doesn't contain the word "flavour" or "claim".Cooldog wrote:@inhim, I'm will talk in circles until you understand my point. We know how his flavor could help the town. Unvote
Reason for the vote: I was bored with the game. To me, it seemed like all the discussion was revolving around CooLDoG and TSQ (not real interesting stuff, and only focusing on two people). I wanted to know how a vote placed on someone who had been quiet (I hadn't remembered seeing something from peanutman in a while) would affect what people were saying.
Honestly, the only things of note were you noticing it (good) and peanutman ignoring it (odd). He did start posting again, but other than that, nothing. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what exactly I was looking to happen, but an unexpected thing could potentially bring up unexpected actions, leading to unexpected information.-

@Peanut: While I disagree with your sentiments in #181,mostof your points are valid.
#5: I made the post before I saw Coug's response, then preview edited to not just sayexactlythe same thing. Invalid.
#6:
I don't understand where you're pulling this from. I explained that my suspicion of Coug was from the interactions with cooldogI just don't feel this post. It seems like he's going through the motions but doesn't buy it himself. Also, his suspicion of Coug seems to disagree with the first part of his post.afterthe miller discussion.
#7: I feel that one of SC/Cooldog is likely scum, but probably not both.
And it's more Apathy than any real intent to cruise. Parroting is purely unintentional, and I like to have some NA's to work with before I get into the swing of the game.ShowHe'sbaaa-aaack
