Defensive? I'm anti-PL as it is, they're simply too anti-town for my liking. I, personally, have never seen a situation that gained for the town from a policy lynch. So it's with that in mind that I say "hey, let's at least give him a chance first"; however, that doesn't mean I like the guy's playstyle any more than anyone else who's played with him. I'm not psychic (not to mention the fact that we're only on page 3), so I couldn't give you an exact figure, but there's just a certain angle he takes when he's scum. Not necessarily that his whole demeanor is different or his opinion flip-flops or anything over the top like that, it's moreso his stance when being put under pressure.

Though that's a common tell, don't you think?

Well...... I think I can agree with chk. The only reason he really got through in Sorcerers was because I was bussing him so hard and so consistently that I made the case against him look laughable, so that he never really came under real pressure.

As I said in my last post, I believe andrew to be easy to read. It's as chkflip says.
I've only played one game with him, but it was enough to classify him as easily readable in the right circumstances. And these circumstances won't appear on page 3, that's for sure.

chesskid is probably scum, so yeah.

Because the target of crappy psuedo-not random votes early on D1 is always town?

Well it sure sounds like you have enough experience with andrew to make a reliable call on that.

What's hilarious is how similar this game is to the last one. I'm guessing andrew and gandalf are scum then?

Nah, gandalf is town in this one.
I think Akira needs pressure though.

You said that last game as well...

The similarities really are uncanny.
I would suggest to other people to read that game as a whole bunch of us played it so you could possibly farm it for reads.

Hmmm how does me saying it's pressure remove any pressure? I don't buy into bullshit.

Also, since we're clearly out of RVS, reasons are needed for votes. :teach:

By saying you are voting someone "for pressure," they have no reason to be pressured as they know your vote isn't really for lynching purposes.

ThAdmiral acting like the fact that this game has similarities to a game where I was scum means that I must be scum this game is way more scummy than Chevre.

Although her recent claim that stating a vote is for pressure makes it not pressuring is pretty scummy too. Votes pressure, no matter the reason for them. If you're at L1, you start to feel pressure whether the people on your wagon think you're scum or not. In fact, I find that baseless(although this isn't baseless, it's weak) wagons can sometimes be more effective for this purpose than really sound ones.

Thanks. I've give that a look over.

BTW now I read all your posts in this voice
gandalf5166 wrote:Votes pressure, no matter the reason for them.
Sure, except one little vote on him with the stated reason of providing pressure effectively removes the pressure of that vote. If there was more than one vote I might be inclined to agree with you.
Chevre wrote:Fixed so that Akira may have actually been pressured.
Unvote; vote chesskid3
That's still not a good reason for a vote.

Andrew is easy enough to read that I'd keep him beyond D1 just so I have a semi-confirmed alignment (unless he does something scummy, of course).
chesskid3 wrote:Can we lynch him now?
^It feels like that was a semi-serious question made by scum to try and get off a quick lynch.

Not me alone, I guess it was other players telling me about andrew's behavior which made me sure about it.

@chesskid: Any reason why you chose me specifically? You could have had an easier time with someone who already has a vote.
