look, I understand this is going to be seen as scummy, but as an experienced LD player (marathon games, look them up, I'm charnel), I really would like a no-lynch. The first lynch is most likely one that's on a townie. But there are no VT's here. Every townie might be a vig, a cop, or something even better. This is one of the few games where town is actually stronger at night. I've been LD scum, and all you worry about is people random vigging or copping you. And I suspect a few people have made an investigative action. (or can make someone else a Paranoid Post restriction owner, which is a funny watcher). So our later lynches should be a lot better.

That, and the idea is to have a lot of fun with night actions in LD. Day's are for endgame. First we should get some actions to get this game going. (and please don't shoot everyone. Thats just boring).

@myk: I won't deny that you have a point, but why do you seem in such a rush to throw away a day? The game of mafia is a scum-hunting game. We need information for the town to find the mafia, and anything short of kills is not reliable information. Even vigs need information from the day to place their kills. Voting NL right off the bat will get us nowhere.

I actually see myko's logic. Not sure if I agree cause it's kinda...not mafia if you're just lol no lynch. I'd rather play the day out, personally, even if it's suboptimal.

Just a bit more to add on to the conversation: You also have to realize that this isn't a marathon game. We have more time and viewpoints to look over the bits of information that we gain in the day then you'd usually have in a marathon game. The town needs to use every tool available to it, to help us find the mafia.

I think everyone is of a like mind on the necessity to see the day out.

If we do decide to NL, it should be after we've pursued all leads.

While no-lynch would be good, I can see how experienced LD players can easily take advantage of the possible lack of creativity of the newer players.

I guess what I want to say is that, it is easy to get mixups in the LD setup, considering that everyone is a PR.

I do not think it is in the town's best interest to shoot N1 though. There are too many other better town options out there.
