My point is that once Toog claims scum, people (myself included) flocked to vote him BECAUSE HE CLAIMED SCUM and you can't leave him alive when he does that. If you want to do an untainted VC, look at it prior to his scumclaim.

I know what you mean. It's still irrelevent - and while I read it with the advantage of hindsight, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have voted for him after he claimed anyway, since my experience of people who claim scum before they're lynched is that they're generally frustrated townies rather than actual scum.

The trouble with the leaks Percy posted is that we can't properly evaluate them with any sort of certainty as to how skeptical we should be of the messages until Percy is confirmed one way or the other. That means he needs to die. The nature of the evesdropped posts suggests that the scum teams are being careful as to the information that is being put in their QT, so they may be quite comfortable with their information or disinformtion being put in the public sphere. They may not decided to kill him. Thus, town has to consider whether it's worth killing Percy ourselves, since as far as I'm aware, that's the only way to be 100% sure of his allegience and thus the context of the messages he's leaked.

I think Socio and bob are both scum, since I said the second most likely person to do the capslock thing was Socio and Fate does seem to be genuine about it not being him. So I'll just go with Fate, since he seems to be able to get scum lynched faster.
