I want to reiterate this part of my post so it doesn't get lost in the mish mash.
CupcakePanda wrote:I would like to take it one step further if we can, and see if we can get an accurate timetable of Millerness on all claimed Miller personalities. Since we all have a nifty timetable, could Millers list not only their current run (if it is running) from PD# to PD#, but their next two sets of runs as well PD# to PD#. For example, if you are Miller from PD6 to PD8 and then again from PD24 to PD26, that would be helpful. It would tell scanners where the windows of testing sanity or checking claims lie. It would also make it more difficult for Scum claiming Millers to try and get scanned during their Godfather periods.
What are other people's opinions on this? The only downside I can think of is that it hints at how long player's with Miller personalities cycle their personalities, and I can't really see how that is a bad thing in general.

I don't agree with it.

All the cops need to know is when the millers are millers, because that gives them a confirmed guilty. Checking innocents without knowing their sanity is pretty much useless because they don't know whether they're supposed to be getting a positive or guilty result in the first place, so anything they recieve is next-to useless. Unless I'm misunderstanding you and you're suggesting millers simply claim the exact time periods when they're millers; I agree with THAT completely.

That's exactly what I am saying right there. Anyone with a Miller Personality claims the the exact PDs for all upcoming Miller time frames. As mentioned, this is to not only help confirm sanities, but also give the wider window of when a Miller is scannable to prevent scum from saying "Ok, I am not Miller right now, scan me" (trying to bait a scan on Godfather period).

I have more time for this game now that cookie thief mafia is done.

Hydraheads disagreeing explains some of the weird early business, but I still think the case against presented against Exe looked weaker than a townie would believe in (my meaning when I said I didn't approve it). I also don't see where the "Tuni is scum" stuff is coming from.

Reading the Beefster/TMH business now.

Looking at page 19 again, I'm getting strong vibes that Beef and TMH are scum together.

Firstly:
themanhimself wrote:

Exe
THB
Tuni
Lady Lamb

Scum

Beefster
TMH,

More scum votes plz, particularly Beefster.
Nice shopping list. You have more town reads than suspects. Try some real scumhunting. (I personally suspect more than 2 people- Exe and Elli are the 2 most notable, but you, Scotty Bro, THB, and CP are up there)

unvote

VOTE: Lat22
I now wish to interrogate Lateralus.
This is clearly just an OMGUS vote and that's pretty scummy. I'd still like to hear from Lateralus to get his opinion of the case though
Appears that THM is clearly distancing and preparing to possibly get aboard a Beefster train if it happens, but bases his future actions on whether Lat can present a case or not.

Then we get the series of back and forths where Lat presents arguments, and it's TMH who is defending Beef against the case, and not Beef himself, which appears to me that TMH is trying to find flaws in the case to protect a scum buddy.

But specifically, this stands out:
themanhimself wrote:
Lateralus22 wrote:What case?
That's what I'm asking, you say Beefster is one of the two scummiest people and then asked my opinion of him. Now I want to know your opinion of him, besides he's one of the two scummiest players. Why do you believe that?
I'm only asking because Beefster has become a hot topic and I haven't really seen anything of note.
I figure you must have a good reason so I'm going to see what you have to say and then make up my mind about the whole thing.
Right after calling Beefster scummy for OMGUSing Lat...

TMH continues to post that Lat's case is flawed and can't concretely peg Beef as scum. Why does it need to be concretely passed though? It's Day 1, so what kind of damning evidence is going make scum concrete? I think the case Lat made is pretty good, at least enough to warrant suspicion on Beef, and Beef's lack of defense with TMH doing all the lifting paints them both badly.

Tuni says it perfectly. It looks like a Chainsaw Defense. Either of these two scumbags can die today.

Now would be the time for Beefster to give us that analysis of themanhimself as asked and respond to this post.

Mafuyu-san can comment too.

Hey, didn't Beefster want to interrogate me or something? What happened to that?

Vote themanhimself

The townlist-OMGUS-wtfOMGUS post chain is certainly interesting. While it's terrible that people are claiming chainsaw, as chainsaw's supposed to involve a dead player, it's still of note that TMH went, not for Lateralus as could be justified, but rather Beefster, someone who shared a similar position in Lat's post but OMGUS-voted. Mafuyu's more available to read after handing in a project on thursday.
Guh. The words.

Hrm, Fate's case on Beefster makes sense.
He attacks Exe, who was on the Shadow wagon, while saying he thinks Shadow is scum.
That doesn't point to a consistent perspective on the game unless Exe is bussing Shadow,
but Beefster doesn't ever mention bussing or appear to be thinking about it until he talks about Exe's logic against Yasuda.
Beefster did not say "Shadow could also be scum" but clearly said he thought both were scum.
The daycop business is just silly.
I'm also getting townvibes from many of the people on Beefster's wagon, so I'll go ahead and
VOTE: BEEFSTER
TMH does kind of seem like an insane man muttering in the corner, but the connection people are making between the two of them makes some sense.

L-1 by my count, feel free to double-check. Fate, Ellibereth, Lateralus22, CupcakePanda, Tuniogen, KitoMo, Llamarble, Exe, us.

FoS Cupcake + Llama
, if there's scum on this wagon, I'm leaning towards one of these for bussing. Especially Cupcake.

Cool. That should be L-1. Happy to see all my town or null-town reads aboard, which is kinda amazing actually.

Now would really be the time for themanhimself to give me a concrete read, just sayin, but the insane man should be the one to hammer in the end after Beefster claims (meaning someone speak up Asap so we can get to the claiming then the lynching. Actually fuck I wouldn't care if we lynched without a claim but we're still letting the insane man chime in to speak).

Is there even a point to claiming in this kind of setup at L-1?

Not liking the speed of this wagon. Scum know which day(s) are advantageous for them to have night during (when their roles are more powerful). So I am suspicious how quickly this wagon has come together. I see the points on Beefster, but as I mentioned earlier, I've never seen him not act scummy (double negative yes).

Some roles might be provable/worth keeping around; also some roles might affect best time to lynch.
Scott makes an interesting point about scum trying to arrange optimal nighttime. We should probably wait some amount of time before anyone hammers to try to avoid any particular personality region they're targeting? Talking more is pro-town regardless.
