Seraphs receive a boost from quicklynches, so lynching vezok as fast as possible could work well for those of you that are town.

We should lynch one of Kit, baby, and Gud today.

The logic about the scum seraph getting 50% of battery power seems right, but the OP just says the seraphs receive an amount proportional to battery power so town could receive 50% as well. But I think it makes sense to reward the town for speedy lynches, and make them pay for using game time.

But I won't set a MUST LYNCH WITHIN TWENTY PAGES thing. Though not spending pages and pages would be nice too. Especially with scum NAILED (BS, Gud)

This has always been a bad scum defensive move. "hmm, the pro-town response to people calling me scum is to ask clarifying questions to ascertain their sincerity, thus I shall prove my townieness by doing so".

Your follow up is to ignore the above and make a deal out of how I didn't answer the question.

Getting people to answer questions and take positions is the definition of a pro-town conversation.
THIS IS WHY YOU PRACTICALLY CLAIMED SCUM

I've seen this garbage before so don't try it. "Someone called me scum, responding this way is pro town so if I do it I can deflect their suspicion". It's transparent. Also, your "getting people to take positions" involves asking me if I think people on my scum list are scum.

I think he's actually mafia not sk. That hammer had all the looks of a "sacrifice myself to take out a townie" move and upon reread his complaining about being called the SK sounds people sound when they are accused of something completely false, but are nevertheless guilty (like the "Are joking? I'm CLEARLY not Chinese scum!" you get in multiscum games sometimes).

Him and singer are trying to distance too. Badly.

I've been to busy with real life lately to dedicate time to mafia. But this game seems pretty simple

8. Furcolow--Furc is town.
11. inHimshallibe--inhim is town.
12. Jack--Jack is town
17. mothrax
18. Nachomamma8
20. RayFrost--Ray is town
22. singersigner
24. VasudeVa

I had a scum read on singer which slipped a bit yesterday, and a town read on vas which became a strong scum read yesterday but is weakening today. Nacho I had as SK but his play today has been very scummy which I don't expect from a good sk player who should just be able to blend in. Mothrax, someone was yelling about how come everyone gave him a pass, well I don't know why so I should check up on it, we were pretty in tune at one point in the game.

I think VV is actually right about the vezok lynch. Mothrax's comments about the kill flavor are super suspicious if you read his iso and it sounds like he killed fate from one of them. However that still leaves VV as someone who is really trying, but really trying to lynch the SK. I'd rather leave that for now and go after singer or nacho.

Actually I do believe that VV thinks that lynching the SK is best, which should make him town. I doubt his explanation will change this.

That just leaves two people ss and nacho, they both have to be the scum, with mothrax the SK.

Scum would want to kill Town no matter who we lynch. If we get rid of a killing Faction now, it would minimize the deaths which will buy us time.
Do you really believe this? I have come around to your way of thinking partially though,

vote:mothrax

Lynching the sk is bad, but making them claim isn't.

After day 1:
Mothrax wrote:That is confusing... it doesn't sound like a scumkill.
Mothrax wrote:Yeah, according to the OP he "Might as well Be Walking on the Sun."
it doesn't sound like factional kill...
After fate was killed:
Mothrax wrote:The flip begs to differ. Shadowed Dark demon is the way the flip looked after the groups were pulled together... I'm not sure why fate was killed though, it looks like attempted the impossible might not be the scumkill flavor after all...
Mothrax wrote:Um.... I was scum in Moho, we were pulled together before both of those flips. The "dark demons" then flipped shadowed dark demons and visa versa. And the last comment has to do with the fact that the scum teams have been united. Why would scum kill there own. Thus I doubt that "attemPted the impossible" is the scumkill.
Mothrax wrote:@Babyspice: I disagree, I think that "incinerated" and "sniped" are the scumkill flavors. That being said "attempted the impossible must come from a third party or town player. From what hito said I am not inclined to believe that it is a town player unless the fallen seraphs spammed powerroles d1 (not really a viable option without knowledge of the scum team, which they wouldn't have without a considerable amount of faith. IMO it makes more sense as an SK kill.
Mothrax wrote:I said nothing pertaining to andrius. I was answering babyspices question to me about killflavor. The only way the fate kill could be town driven would be if the fallen seraphs spammed powerroles early to give scum an advantage and accidentally gave it to a town player. Which makes no sense from a scum perspective. Why give powerroles when you don't know who is on your team? I got the vibe from hito that they had not done a lot in the way of giviNg prs.
This all indicate inside knowledge, either sk or scum.
Mothrax wrote:O Man guys look at AGM drawing attention to his pro-town action after having been called out for scummy actions previosly.
This is after AGM's hammer of babyspice (town). I think it would be weird for scum to call that hammer on someone they knew was town "agm drawing attention to his pro-town action". That makes moth the sk. Claim it please.
Mothrax wrote:8 players means 6:2 or 5:2:1 (I am still not convinved there is an SK, but there is no other explanation for the extra kills)
Aaaah, the icing on the cake. Since when is mothrax not convinced that there is an SK?

******

With moth as the SK, the last two mafia are probably singer and nacho, with vas as the outside option. Make moth claim, direct his kill, and lynch one of them, and we are guaranteed to hit scum.

inHim, what do you mean by this?
I'm not taking any numbers for granted. If there are three scum left, we pretty much HAVE to hit a scum. I'm not confident re: 2 or 3 left so I think lynching the SK is definitely NOT as good as lynching mafia.
We should still make him claim.

They have a decent chance of winning one of those endgame scenarios, and you would think they have to have nightkill immunity. Actually, I wonder how the hell you balance an sk going against a scum team and 2 hostile unkillable super power roles.

But you're right, it would have been better if we pretended to think he was scum so our lynch threat was more believable. Personally I think his absence speaks volumes on this point though.

The slip is a standard 1st post play, ala:

Caught our second scum, folks. Feel free to join in and find some others.
My scumreads are still the same. Strange that there seems to zero interest in any pressure on mothrax who has dropped off the map, vv and singer seem to be going after me rather than him which I find odd if he's the sk.

Where is inhim? Where is mothrax?

Why did singer suddenly decide to have a scum read on me?
I'm actually think it's Jack at this point. His slip at the beginning was too convenient.
I believe mothrax to be mafia, and Jack is SK. His last comment is just a deflection after I just brought up his slip from the beginning. WHY DID WE FORGET ABOUT THIS.
I plan on voting for Jack when I get back.
Busting out the "slip" after all this time sounds like she really can't think of anything else, then she tries to build on it by saying that I'm being evasive about the slip. Weird conclusions about moth being mafia and me being the sk as well.

singersigner wrote: Jack, my read on you changing because my read on VV hasn't changed doesn't mean a whole lot. You defending it by saying "I must not have anything else on you" is reaching.
How is it reaching? You quoted the post and added an unhappy face, then said the slip was too convenient, and that was the sum total of your stated reasons for moving from your town read to an "sk read". Now you keep trying to tack on things like "deflection" and "reaching" to justify yourself, even after I quoted from another game where I pretended to scumslip in my first post.

If you're trying to backtrack and say it was PoE, state so explicitly (in reference to your first sentence).

I'm very glad about this. He may be mafia and not the sk, but at this point the sk seems likely to target town deliberately in any case.
