To be frank, I'm sick and tired of people saying they don't see the point of some rules we've made. Some games are played certain ways, and other games are played others. It's all according to the rules each mod has made for their game. Some mods actually enforce their rules (hi there!), and some don't. If you don't like the rules, either replace out, or just kindly shut your mouth! If you don't like the game, you are always free to leave.

After a solid three days of crime scene investigation, one officer had finally found evidence pointing to the true identity of the charred crisp that had been found the night before. After some sleuthing work around the megacity, with multiple visits to known hangouts and morgues, the officer was finally able to make a positive ID on the remains of the corpse, whose previous police codename had only been "Vi".

As the officer rushed in his speed-cruiser back to the precinct to share the news with his captain, he mentally patted himself on the back for doing such a good job. He was so absorbed in his good fortune in finding the final clues that he completely missed the huge black column of smoke a few blocks south of his destination. He parked his cruiser in the skylot and rushed into the 34th floor of the station.

As he burst into the door of his captain's office, he stopped short: Not a soul was in the building. The officer did a double-take; the local news was playing on the holoscreen near his captain's desk, and he recognized members from the precinct among the flashes of people displayed.

"That's strange," he thought, and then he realized: The exterior door he'd used to enter the station had been locked. That door was never locked except in case of an emergency, or when the entire police force was out of the building for a fellow officer's funeral, or something of that nature. He peered again at the holo: there was his captain, talking to a news representative from the local station, answering questions very serious in nature.

The officer grabbed his coat again and ran out the door, hopping into his speed-cruiser and tearing off towards the billowing pillar of thick, black smoke.

At the scene of the crime, the captain was dutifully answering the questions of the news rep. He'd been here for over an hour already, and was already sick of the stench of the fumes. The sight was ghastly. Mutilated bodies were everywhere; apparently a bomb had gone off right in the middle of a crowded intersection, creating a crater at least 30 feet deep and 50 feet wide. Something toxic was in the air, but first responders had determined that there were no nerve agents or other biological weapons in the air, so the area was deemed "safe" for emergency personnel to extract the wounded and deceased.

He looked to his left: two more officers were dragging a body out of a destroyed vehicle. What clothing remained on her body was green and white, and the face was young and beautiful. It was too bad that the life in this attractive girl had been extinguished so soon.

Likewise, wherever one turned, more bodies were being dragged from the wreckage, and carefully placed into body bags. Before the bags were zipped up, the officers collected their identification chips or performed DNA checks with their portable identification devices. All of the bodies identified were then shipped directly to the mortician.

The citizens watching newscasts were awed by the wanton destruction, and wondered what could have taken place that would create such a large column of smoke. The morning dawned without much solace for anyone, least of all the ones who must deal with the aftermath of the disaster. And so the workers bore on with grim determination, and hoped desperately for a respite. But none came.

Apparently a vig has taken care of scummy Steph and probably dram as well. The other three tonight look like scum kills - now that we know Vi was not yellow like some had assumed.

The Stove apparently was investigated by Starbuck, therefore the town read she claimed yesterday on him.
