Why?
Reasons not to lynch cop:
Mafia either have to block or kill him tonight if he's town
If there's no scum roleblocker and a doctor, then congratulations, you just got a cop report
And since there's a 10/13 chance he's town (assuming 3 scum) then statistically it's best to leave him alive for tonight.
I mean there are less benefits if he's scum, though if he claims roleblocked and another person claims roleblocked and there's no town RB then we know someone's lying. And if he gives a fake report, well there's some WIFOM for us. I guess.

Reasons to lynch you have already been outlined and you acknowledged both in a recent post yet failed to argue against them so

So the reasons are 1. Something that didn't happen 2. Something that isn't a scum tell. Really? I presumed I was strawmanning your arguments at least slightly.

I hold the vierw that if we do not lynch Werewolf today then Werewolf will not get lynched. I call this "remember Sensfan's Harry Potter W

No, I don't remember that game, since I didn't play in it, and one game is not exemplary of an overall site meta in the slightest.

Can you give a counter-example as my experience on thisd game is that people are awfully hesitant to go from town to scum on a player.

Can you give a counter-example where people went from buying a claim to disbelieving it purely on the backs of scumhunting (rather than new role information) and on a different day?

@ Packbat
I was mistaken, and you were correct. Given that set of circumstances, my insinuation was off track.

I still sense a distinct lack of effort on your part to actively look for any scum. Do you have any suspicions at this point?

Voting no lynch gives more advantage to scum. So, yes, it looks like an attempt at a scum ploy.

Posing the question this way is scummy because all answers of option one naturally evolve from option two, which by being falsely contrasted with option one is not scummy.

If you were not attempting to force the claim from werewolf55, what was the point of your "Claim or die!" post?
If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

To illustrate my desire for Werewolf to claim. You have to remember that I couldn't be "attempting to force the claim from werewolf55" for no more complicated a reason than its physically impossible for me to do so (short of WW being really gullible and my claiming a Dayvig).

Edit: OK can anybody say that sort of allegations and aspertions isn't scummy. (and "clever"? LAL anyone?)

Not if the player claiming cop plays scummy and therefore the claim is subject to more question than normal.

Deliberately ignoring questions is a scum tell. Last chance.

To paraphrase Empking,

You wanted a claim based on gut? Also both your second points are indicative of newbie town PRs, I remember having to get someone off the block for acting like that in the last PYP

I think four months experience and his attitude justifies a newbie read.

Also Zyrconium is probably scum in this situation. He had an amazing "ignore the elephant in the room" post when wolf got to L-1 post.
