Yeah, the way CK worded his role claim was ambiguous but understandable if you read it right. There were 1 or 2 people pushing that he "soft claimed a PR" which made me wary. Especially when smargaret brought it up again on D3.

I think IF we'd faked watcher on Chess N1, I don't know why the watcher wouldn't have been on Wraith N2, since he was confirmed town. The escape hatch you suggested was a watch on me, but if Umbrage had claimed Wathcer, there's no way he'd watch me, and if Smar had claimed it and not been believed, we'd likely lose both. I dunno - Shadow, Brit, Doom, would you have voted Chess over Umbrage D3?

Also, if we'd NK'd and I'd claimed BP...how do you guys think that would have gone down? :p

No, he definitely claimed VT with the whole "Would William Turner be a PR or not" stuff, when trying to point out that Sparrow could be a VT. If chess was a PR, as William Turner, he would have been expecting Sparrow to be one too as Sparrow's more likely to be a PR than Turner. Ergo a VT claim.

It was kind of funny having you guys block chess three nights running when he was a Vanilla who had as good as claimed as such. But I wasn't going to tell you that .

Tbh, I think Chess was his own worst enemy - if town had listened to him, we would have been in a lot of trouble. That said, town wasn't going to listen to him because of the antagonistic tone in his posts.

The same goes for IS. You have to do more than read people accurately; you have to convince people to listen to you.

I never understood what misconception people were having about CK's claim, which made me believe him for the longest time. I've never played with weak doc, so I figured town must have more power, because it seemed at face value (given what happened n1) that weak doc was terribly under-powered (the way Prana puts it makes more sense though). So I figured tracker/watcher pair, with no cop was a good combo, and that it made sense if no one CC'd that Smargaret was, in fact, watcher.
