Equinox, I didn't mind Balam but I disagree with pretty much everything you, personally, posted in your QuickTopic. (At least on Day 1. Wasn't paying much attention past that.) You wanna chat about it in a cordial manner?

When I yelled at Shanba and Gurgi for killing me in my quest to secure the scum QuickTopic, they both insisted that they didn't want me to die and Copper had overruled them. I am still

by their spinelessness.

Something was off. I mean "sure" this is how Yos "usually" plays, and he had her read as town correctly... but something was weird. Something about Yos' motives and posting and the stances he took.

Ether noticed it.

She said "meh, I guess he's town for now..."

But deep down.

She knew.

it's something that's made me think a little too because I know Ether's usually pretty damn good at getting reads off of people she's played with more than once. If she was hesitating about Yos then that's probably not that good of a sign for Yos.

@Ether: I don't really see how that's idiotic given the game-state that was going on at the time that was said. I mean, if you were put in the position I was in, do you really think you might have still been reading Yos as town at that point given everything that was going on at that time? It's easy to say Yos was being tunnel-visioned when you know his alignment, but I don't think it's as easy when you're just going off of things based on reads and such.

I have no problem with you updating your reads, and I won't deny that my defenses of Yosarian's mindset are mostly because I like him too much to come out and say that he was being a complete buffoon.

My issue is that you took what was explicitly stated to be a town read, and interpretted that as a point against him.

You might note that after I lost interest, CES' postin actually increased in rate. It seems that the need to communicate in a hydra hugely counteracts the benefit of having an extra head in terms of keeping up activity

This was my experience, and it was really frustrating to watch so many other players limp around insisting that they had to coordinate. I think you evolved out of that on later days, so good job.

Patrick and I had a strange dynamic: I made almost all of the posts, but he had to nag me to read the game in the first place. It seemed to work out, though it's not something I have any desire to repeat.
