Do none of you actually talk to people on a daily basis? I don't even know what else I can contribute to this game. I've laid out my reasons clearly, and yet none of you seem to understand. I honestly don't get it anymore. I voted initially because I felt we were at a roadblock and I was trying to appease Parama and make everyone happy. Appeasement doesn't work.

Akira is not scum. Everyone's claims that we're a "scumteam" are not valid. End of story. Stop trying to wriggle around that.

Personally I think we should lynch one of the people that are "obvscum" according to a certain faction of the town, so we can decide how accurate this faction is, and follow their advice if they're right and take them less seriously / hunt for ulterior motives if they are wrong. Seems like way too much certainty on a whole lot of people for Day 1, but what do I know?

Lynch has been reached!

It seemed everyone had decided Akira was the donkey. Well enough of everyone .. there was still the occasional protest of innocence by some, but they were quickly restrained by threats of death.

There was a problem though. Goldfish weren't the violent type and noone knew how to kill anyone. It would require some good brainstorming.

"Let him get old till he get's dementia and forgets how to swim!"
"Force feed him fish food so he is too heavy to float"
...And similar ideas could be heard shouting over the incomprehensible squabble that ensued.

None of the above sounded particularly exciting and blood thirsty. Everyone eventually decided on a less humane approach.

One by one, each member of the fishbowl community took turns farting at Akira. The stench was unbearable. And there was the occasional poop which wasn't very appetizing either. Akira had no choice but to hold his breath, but with the relentless assault of farts directed at his direction he had no opportunity to breath and quickly asphyxiated.

In hoping to keep the game running at an enjoyable pace, I have updated the following rule:

4.b) Night 1 will have a maximum deadline of 72 hours and minimum deadline of 36 hours. All subsequent nights will have a minimum deadline of 24 hours, and maximum deadline of 48 hours.

If all night actions are submitted once 36 hours has elapsed, I will start Day 2.

So after the

shenanigans

fun, joy, happiness, laughter and puppies of the previous day, it was decided that a well earned rest for everyone was in order.

So while all the goldfish pondered how to close their non-existent eyelids for some relaxing shut-eye, the remaining donkeys were plotting their vengeance.

They considered stabbing them to death with a banana, but in a world of poverty and starving children, such a waste of food would be sacrilege.

The proven method of asphyxiation by farting could have been used, but that posed a few issues...

The Greenhouse effect. The methane from farting posed a significant risk to increasing global warming. They were not eco-terrorists, and were avid supporters of the Kyoto Protocol. That was one minor inconvenience.

Then there was the issue of resources. It would be a challenge for a handful of asses to be able to sustain a production of fart gases enough to asphyxiate their target. So obviously now, this method of murder was now out of the question.

Ahh! They had a brain wave! And they thanked the heavens for blessing them with a higher IQ than those pathetic goldfish.

So unknown to the clueless goldfish who were still figuring out how to get some shut eye, they sneakily phoned the Climate Police Hotline to tip them off about the gross violations that had occurred during the death of Akira.

And in a hail of sirens, the Climate Police arrived in their solar powered submarines. Eager to get back to their donuts and hotdogs, they attempted to arrest the first suspect they saw, [winger]. Of course, [winger] resisted arrest, and they were left with no option but to pepper spray him. But without eyelids, and hence the inability to close them, the pain drove [winger] crazy causing him to gouge his own eyeballs out. Opps.

It was a successful night, and the monkey's mission was back on track.
