"Where are the others, pod?" someone bellows from behind him. Pod spins around only to face the barrel of a gun.
"You know where they are, Barry."
"Indeed I do. So what now? I will not give up this town."
"And the mafia won't either."
"Very well. But there is a third option."
"Is that so?"
Through the thick of the mist pod can see Barry smirking, but Barry doesn't seem to be interested in answering at all.
"What the hell do you want, Barry? The Mafia plans? Do you want to blackmail us? Do you expect me to talk?"
"No, Mr. Pod. I expect you to tie!"

Pod, that was a good move to suggest no kills. I was almost certain you and Barry were going to night kill each other until you did that.

GG, Pods - you lasted a lot longer than I thought you would. You took over an impossible spot and played it well. As for me, I'm glad to have at least a tie as a SK.

One other note: I actually was originally planning to no-kill last night. The reason I changed my mind was a PM from the GM that confirmed if we went through 3 day/night cycles of no-lynch, no-hit we would have a 3-way tie. After I heard that, I changed my request to hit Zito. Wish now I had left that alone, as I was certain Pods will no-kill again and we would have put bvoigt in the position voting or accepting the result we eventually got here. But still, glad to have made it to at least a tie from a SK role.

This was my first game with an SK (actually my first game out of the newbie queue). It was fun, but it leaves almost no margin for error with ML's.

The case was purely because he was a VI. VIs aren't always scum.

I'm a little bitter that I had Barry (wrong alignment though), but otherwise most of my scum reads weren't great. I'm also never letting people talk me out of a Zito town read again.

One question, why did I die? When I found out who the mafia really were it kind of confused me.

You're right; my case on him, and play in general, was pretty bad on Day 1. I'd like to think I improved from that point, though. A few other comments:

I'm no expert on game balance, but I feel like this one was kinda tough for town to win, especially since the mafia doc lowered the chance of crosskills. But it was still fun, and smoothly modded. Good game everyone, and thanks, Dekes.

I wish a few of you would tone down the wallposts. They're OK once in a while, but an average post doesn't need to be in essay format. I know I'm more willing to read and accept an argument if it's concise.

No, it wasn't. I don't support policy lynches, but I do support lynching VIs when I think they're scum.
