At this point its time to try new things.
Unvote
Vote: Apokalyptika
He is doing everything he can to be able to keep his vote fluid. In his catchup he lists Furcolow, Meransiel, Nachmamma, ConfidAnon, Pim and bvogit as scum. However his vote lands on Nacho for what seems to be a burden of proficiency. The case applies to him specifically because "nacho is a good player". If someone like me did it, the tell would apparently not apply. This is a sign of a weak tell, unless there is a distinct pattern of this occuring when Nachomamma is scum over multiple games, if I was a betting man, I would say that there is no such pattern.
Now why is this important? Its because Apokalyptica is now managing to avoid pushing a case on four players that he sees as scummy for someone that is being more unhelpful, but I (and apparently a few others) see as town. This is more of scum trying to get a very easy lynch out of the early game that can be shruged off as just being on someone that was not going to be of use either way. I will basically guarentee that mafia was/are voting nacho over this, especially if he really is town.-

There was no actual point in it. He said my accusations on him bandwagoning are silly, whenbvoigt wrote:
And how does arguing over the definition of OMGUS defeat his argument? It may make his argument look weaker, but it doesn't address the actual point.Meransiel wrote:
Not when it defeats an argument entirely.bvoigt wrote:
I don't really like this response. What difference does it make if he was OMGUS'ing or not? As you've said yourself, arguing semantics rather than the actual point is not good.Meransiel wrote:It would be omgus if I would be voting you for it. It was just that your reasons to vote was a bland repetition of a wrong argument. You weren't conservative with your vote, you were justabsentfor most of the time, chap.the topic was full of people justifying why I would be a good vote. See the contradiction there? I don't need to defeat a player which defeats himself.
@Nacho: I am very much awaiting to hear your conclusions. Even though I know it will probably be a wall of reasons why I'm scum.Voltaire fan. (yes, both of them). If you are a fan as well, pm me, and we'll converse for hours about why they're awesome.-

But why did you bother saying, "It would be omgus if I would be voting you for it"?Meransiel wrote:

I'm not a fan of the idea that creating a bandwagon on yourself is a good idea. It may give you an idea of who the scum are, but acting in a way to attract a bandwagon will attract townies to it and it won't help anyone else analyse the wagon.
I'm also waiting to see what Nacho gleaned from his gambit. This day is starting to stagnate without a decent wagon forming yet. 12 days to deadline might seem like a lot, but we're pretty far from a lynch.-

@Fur - not that easy to make a wall provided only a couple people post regularly, and the main points have been presented already, aye? Wrote what I thought was notable, collected my own set of reads and suspicions, I don't think I'm exactly posting contentless, if that's what you're accusing me of doing.Voltaire fan. Add me to the list of people dying to hear nacho's analysis. I hope it's worth it; he's stalling the game pretty hard right now.
So, #58: Voting someone who you and quite a few others feel to be town is 'scum trying to get a very easy lynch out of the early game'? Yeah, sorry, just because you see them as town doesn't mean they are.Witness the man who raves at the wall-

Yeah, and I don't see why a townie would be concerned enough about being accused of OMGUS that he would try to invalidate the accusation on a technicality.Meransiel wrote:

Said technicality being the fact that I'm not even seriously considering Twistedspoon. So...not really a technicality. So...that doesn't prove I didn't OMGUS because...why?bvoigt wrote:

I'm personally waiting for nacho's analysis, but in the interest of keeping this game moving, my top suspects are these:
Meransiel- posts feel wrong to me; scummiest of my suspects.
Apok- chose to focus on nacho, also, while throwing out a couple of FOSes on people doing things (based on Apok's opnion) that I would be willing to say is scummier than nacho's lack of participation. Second most scummy.
Hiraki- sarcasm and obliqueness makes me wary of him.
DrBok- chose to focus on nacho while there was many other things happening. Now wants to replace out... I'll just IGMEOY DrBok.-

How mera responds to questions/accustations does not sit right to me- For example: his justification for not replying to my post:
Note bolded.Meransiel wrote: There are 2 ways of protecting yourself in this game: pointing fingers at somebody else or pointing out the flaws in your argument. Note that:
1. At the time you made that argument, I had nobody to point fingers to (according to my own, personal reads).
2. You base your whole argument on me not paying attention to your argument. So jumping at your post and being passive-aggressive would make you accuse me of arguing semantics, WHICH is very anti-town and therefore could get me lynched. As so, yes, I do think laughing your suspicion off was theleast riskything I could've done.
Why would Mera care about "risk"?-

Yes, I still believe #58 is scummy. Truthfully, I hadn't noticed SS's absence. She'll be prodded soon. (I should look at her posts again.)HackerHuck wrote:
