Actually I agree with you on this one , replacements looking at things fresh can be pretty dangerous to the scum team hence why they are often NKd sharpish - voting primarily to avoid a rep doesn't look good to me at all.havingfitz wrote: The willingness to vote Jerbs to avoid a replacement is very scummy IMO.
.
Nontheless my vote remains with Fitz for the same reasons as discussed previously.-

Lol if you say so Mike and Fitz. Just remember, Fitz is in danger of being lynched, it's only right that he pulls something out against somebody who has called him out as a viable lynch candidate.ShowTotal Games Played:17

No, wanting to lynch someone about to be replaced is scummy. Fitz was right.
Think about it. Jerbs was a Town liability. His unproductive stance was, in the long run, hurting the Town's scumhunting efforts. Like Mike said, replacements not only get things moving again where there had been stagnation, they often provide wholly new perspectives. A flaw of people in it from the start is a tendency to make decisions early and later use rationalization to justify keeping them. That's what you did in 327."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Ok I have some time and I'm just going to work off of what I see first, so if I go out of order, my apologies.
About my unvote of neil. Yes, it is because his attacks have stopped. The only reason it seemed so scummy in the first place was because of how respectful he had seemed initially. And since he has claimed that he never actually believe fitz to be scum I feel like I can overlook the names as just a shift of character, and not as a scummy move.
And now, unfortunately, to explain why I believe fitz is scum means reiterating what most of the other people on his wagon have said. I don't want to attack the willingness to lynch voided when pappums had his claim on him, because most of the rest of us did too so how could that be anything close to a valid reason? In my eyes, its the unwillingness to let the gambit go as simply a way to provoke everyone to talk about things. As a town player, its clear that it was a productive move, because look at where we are now? Everyone is involved in discourse and we actually seem to be getting somewhere. Anyone who disagrees with the fact that discourse is helpful to town is automatically anti-town.
And fitz seems to be so opposed to it that he's attacking the one who started the conversations in the first place. Talking about things is good for town, and at least if something goes wrong today we have all of these posts to look through for more information tomorrow. Pushing a quicklynch without much information is very scummy.
And that's why I'm voting fitz.-

In theory, yes it can be found scummy. However, I'm not scum, and therefore there was no scum motivation in my vote. I simply hate replacements in general. In all games. Sorry if it's scummy to you. I just find it funny Fitz would point it out so quickly, like a dying man's last curse.ShowTotal Games Played:17

i have seen plenty of townies say they want to lynch new replacements in a number of games, so this is null.
lol @ neil's request for someone to change his mind about my wagon, read the thread and make up your own mind.
also lol @ yet another person who supports lal.
havingfitz is still obvscum.¯\_(ツ)_/¯-

Paraphrase: I'm not scum because I said I'm not scum. Try a little harder.neil1113 wrote:In theory, yes it can be found scummy. Also, your disdain for replacements is stupid. Replacing inactive players is wholly beneficial for Town for reasons already stated. You just went from a null/VI read to a mild scum read.
PEdit: Pappums rat needs to die. The desire to lynch replacements is not null, it's scum. And LAL is tried and true. Gambiting like you did holds zero benefit for Town.
I'm usually very, very against speedlynches, but the day has already fallen into bickering and recursion. Let's get done with this.

VI? Really Pine? Oh dear, you obviously haven't read the thread.
And Pappums, I basically said there was no case, and I wanted someone to make a case that at least SOMEWHAT stands. Glad it could make you laugh though, however if you spent that energy actually making a case, then we can talk.ShowTotal Games Played:17

Jahudo: Well, that ISO of mikemike just really didn't sound in any way useful, just something tacked together to appear townish. especially the sudden reverse from mike to talking about Pappum's liegambit. The reversal itself isn't bad, mind, but what I found weird is that the majority of the post was about mike, and then here we go! Sudden Pappums comment!
Everything else has either been stupidly obvious stuff (like that comment about how Rat's gambit didn't go so well from a lynching standpoint) or just bad.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;

I've read the thread twice now. Calling you VI wasn't a typo.neil1113 wrote:VI? Really Pine? Oh dear, you obviously haven't read the thread.

And what if he flips town instead of scum? Do you think that either way would clear me, or that a townflip would still leave doubt on me?Pine wrote:Hmm. It just occurred to me that if PR does flip scum, that more or less clears Voided completely. WAY too risky a move to play on a scummate, even in the name of bussing.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;

What if someone else chose me, like Jinxx (who had been riding a gut-scum read on me since the start)? Or if he had chosen someone else?Pine wrote:A Town flip would be irrelevant on you. It means he just made a moronic gambit, and likely chose you at random.
You may consider this fluff, but I'm really curious as to what you'd think about this.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;

Same answer. If Jinxx had pulled the same gambit and also claimed a gut scum read, it'd be the same thing. I don't think scum would bus that risky that early. There was no reason to do it. If there'd been a little pressure on PR at the time "shit got real," then I might be inclined to believe a bussing theory. But there wasn't, really. He was in framing mode."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"
