I'm getting a town read off of Xalxe. Chesskid....I'm not so sure about. More time will have to tell.

If the competing wagons are between Friend and TS, I'm definitely a Friend wagon supporter. I note the contradictions and hypocricy, and TS seems a bit misunderstood to me at this stage. Am I understanding this right: The case against TS started because he was asked to read part of the game and responded in minutes? That being a solid tell is really sort of far fetched at this point in the game; I'd be willing to keep a tab on it for later, but I don't think that it's that important at this stage in the game.

i honestly though I had done, my post makes no sense without it
generally, I don't read my posts after making them, so didn't notice until MOI pointed it out.
i think freind is rather scummy
lane has only played better since I voted for her
and I know I changed my vote to friend in >15 mins. If we're going to catch scum, it's no help pointing out the obvious things which players
now they've done. I wouldn't change my vote so quickly and obviously if I didn't have confidence in doing so.
eh. apart from the blatantly obvious and my 'miraculously obvious' topic read, I see no reason why I should be today's lynch over the likes of Friend and Andrew

because mafia know who are town even from the start
and there is a thin line between town reads and buddying, the aim of which is to get into people's good books and have their reads favour you in return

I noticed this off-hand swipe at TS for questioning Lane’s comment about consistency. Why didn’t you comment about me in a similar fashion since I asked Lane directly also?

You looked at it differently than TS did. TS looked at as if Lane actually wanted him to change his vote. You took it as what it actually is, an attack on TS for his vote on Lane. You went to the heart of the matter. TS was so blind he couldn't get there.

It is my general belief that townies are more concerned with hunting scum rather than defending townies, but that might be my own personal belief. I for one do no wish to put my neck on the line for anyone. Defending is akin to buddying. Also, as I stated, it is not necessarily that you do as much as how you do it. I think Friend is defending scummily.

but if they're scum they shouldn't be able to defend themselves well

and besides, the earliness at which friend declared his town reads many times, it was impossible to have a 'really strong townread' as you put it

I've defended townreads to the point of getting lynched for "knowing" they were town before, and I will continue to do so, if the read is strong enough - mafia is about more than preventing yourself from being mislynched as town, it's about getting scumlynches, and protecting townreads works via PoE.

Anywhoo enough about theory.
