As they get smaller, they become a slightly more tightknit group. This reaches a cap, though, when they're at two.

Think about Merge - do you want a tightknit group of three working together against you, or do you want two contestants that you don't even have to worry about?

If the five of us decided to team up for Merge, we'd be stupid and we'd fall apart. The ideal amount of people in each team is two or five - most definitely not three.

Think about it.
