[Day 2 - Death from Above]

The Mask slowly and contemplatively scaled the fire escape of the Green Earth HQ communication tower. Technically nobody was supposed to come up here, but he was the Commanding Officer, right? He made the rules. And besides, he had always had a special affinity for the things. Communication was crucial to defending yourself in war.

With a huff, The Mask pulled himself to the top of the tower and peered over the guardrail to the scenery below. At this height, you could see for miles. The Mask chuckled to himself.

No enemy will ever reach me here,"

he thought.

It is impossible.

At that very moment, his radio buzzed.

"Yes?" he answered.

"Commander, we have an urgent situation. What is your location?"

"What business is that of yours?" The Mask replied.

"It concerns your security, Commander. Now please tell me - where are you?"

"I'm at the top of the..."

But before The Mask had a chance to finish his answer, a dark, black shape had moved rapidly across the sun. Shadows poured over the wide landscape, dousing it into darkness. The Mask dropped his radio and reached for his sword, but could find no enemy to defend against. Suddenly, a rumbling noise began to echo and the tower began to shake. The Mask gripped the railing tightly with his free hand, but he did not need to bother, for it a fall from great height wouldn't mean his end.

A massive, dark-blue laser beam burst out of the dark skies, illuminating the forests, hills, and rivers in an eerie, artificial light. The beam struck the very tower The Mask was standing on with incredible precision for a few seconds ... and then, it was all gone.

As the sunlight returned and the rumbling dissipated, only one thing was missing - the Communications Tower. And with it ... the honorable The Mask.

The Mask (Javier of Green Earth, Allied Nations) was vaporized Day 2.

Do you believe Crazy's claim? It can be tested/proven, and nor does it seem like a scum ability.

SP hasn't done much of anything to make himself look overly townie but he has been badgering the scummy people so he's better than null right now.

I notice how Crazy has been putting off using his ability. Now even if he has it and he uses it, people have either got to reveal whether they'd be a viable target for testing or risk getting a null result from it. And that gives scum plenty of information about what sorts of roles people have and I don't really want that info in their hands, do you? If its a false ability we out ourselves for no reason and scum sacrifice an already scum-looking player.

Everyone has abilities, they don't need to claim what ability they have.. they just need to acknowledge that their ability is noticeably charging faster.

Most abilities should be full, or close to it, and it's stupid to just leave the charge potential being wasted. Plus it's WIFOM all you want to scum, everyone is a PR....

Just saying CP isn't the right lynch, we can either go all the way to prove it if everyone thinks he is scummy enough to warrant it, or start finding someone else to hang. (Preferably one of the lurker scum and not me cos I'm not scum)

Btw, let's not play force everyone to claim by putting them at L-1, then decide not to lynch them or w/e. Sound's like a plan OK?

What I mean, Enigma, is that by the person chosen acknowledging (i) whether or not their power has already charged and (ii) whether its effects can be doubled can give scum a good indication of exactly what PR they have.

SP, you're crazy both ways from what I can see so I don't have a decent meta distinction on you. I don't believe easy lynches are necessarily mislynches, sometimes they're just scum being punished for slipping. I'm not too fond of a BV lynch atm myself so.

Implosion hurts my gut everytime he posts. I can see him trying to divert off of bv, while piggying onto the popular "accelerate" wagon... Makes no REAL sense: Why accelerate the lynch but not vote upon the agreed upon scumbag/claimed guy Bv? Smells like SCUMZORZ trying to get the scum NK but not bus their buddy.

I explained that in the post. bv already had enough votes on him for a lynch (according to gandalf) so I put my vote on someone else who was also scummy.

Hypothesis: Chesskid is scum with a town flip.

Did you read the flavor? It pretty explicitly said that chesskid was town.

bv is still the best lynch. Screw nightkill speculation, it's all WIFOM and can be argued either way. bv is the scummiest.

OK so if anyone wants to confirm my power you can volunteer. Reasons for why it's town.
If it were scum it'd be a little overpowered:
Order of events:
1. Use super co power on self
2. use co power on self (acting as super co power)
3. use co power on scum team power role(acting as doubled co power) - 4x scum power right there.
That's a bit unbalanced. Bv's powers on the other hand seem rather retroactive rather than proactive but they fit with the flavor.
I want to go back and look at aurousvox, sociopath, and enigma specifically now that we're guaranteed more time. Scum vibes are ringing but I want to support them.

It jut takes critical thinking and time. In your case, lots of time. So no, I don't think that the fact that you have a powerful role automatically makes you town.

"By consensus" - this is the problem with confirming his role. Who will we pick? What if their power is not applicable/already charged? More info for the scummz, who, btw, control 33% of those general consensus votes. By consensus has some obvious benefits over volunteering (tracing connections, yadda yadda) but its also got some drawbacks. We also can't dick around too much or we'll have to use the Double SCO power power, which is far more dangerous if scum get it. Unless...

Hm. I think the best option is for someone to use their power, then get it recharged. That way we don't accidentally give scum a doubled SCO, and whoever is picked doesn't reveal how quickly their power was charged. Thoughts?
