ConSpiracy--I'm not sure it's all that unlikely. It wouldn't necessarily be a good move, but scum obviously have an interest in having as much confirmation stage as possible.

Nika--As long as you're asking for clarifications from others, why don't you return the favor and clarify:
1. Why you like your Rico vote
2. Why I would be a good vote
3. Why it should be somebody else that should comment on Amrun's post.

I'll bite, though--I do think it strange she felt the need to clarify that. Why would we have needed to know why Rico voted you, Amrun?

Oh, I didn't say it because he voted for me specifically. I just said it in the interest of being upfront by saying we're IRL friends and we have that sort of connection.

Take it as you will. I just wanted it to be clear so that if someone tried to say, "Oh, RICO ACT and Amrun have a connection!" later it wouldn't feel like an excuse. We do have a connection, and from past experience, it becomes obvious in games, but in this particular case, it has nothing to do with gameplay. I don't know his alignment but we generally come to the same sorts of conclusions in games and things like that. Never played a game together on MS, though, so we'll see how it goes.

To be fair, Am, there is probably more temptation to talk about the game with someone you actually see face-to-face. So obviously we just have to trust that you two won't discuss this game irl at all, regardless of alignment, as long as either one of you is in the game. I'm sure you already know this, and I don't want to be a jerk for saying it like you don't know the rules, but just to be sure we're all on the same page. I feel a little weird about it, but I'll assume good faith.

That said, Mist, is this really a random vote then? I mean, you are giving a reason for it after all.

I could have done it, but I already knew why it was scummy and I wanted to see who would jump on Amrun given that I had already pointed out that post. I didn't gain anything by pointing out that it was a scummy post.
