- Happy Birthday!
Sorry, Xine wouldn't drink with me, so I had to drink hers and my shares yesterday.
Still scummy, to the point where I'llLlamaFluff wrote:@Sudo - Current read on DH/Nacho slot. Go.
@Socio - You too.vote: Nachomamma, now that it isn't at L-1. Nachomamma's been alright so far, though, so I reserve the right to change my mind on the basis of goodposting from Nacho.
It's not my wont to make you regret anything. And I think I've had a remarked tendency to be more or less like this on Day 1 in every game I've been in. Including real life. I can't link anything right now, though, since it's been a while since I've played on-site, and I'm too hung-over right now to bother searching the archives.Crazy wrote:@Sudo - Don't make me regret calling you town. Do you haveanysuspects yet? And have you exhibited your same strategy here in any past games?
I've put down a vote, but I've got some other thoughts. I'm not a big fan of the Crazy wagon- I'm not getting a lot of the vitriol aimed there. I'm also a fan of wagoning Zorblag, if only because he said scum would probably try to lurk, and then stopped posting. Granted, he's not the only lurker, but he's the only one that specifically outlined a lynch-lurkers policy. Other than that, of course, there's not much to say about Zorblag.AGar wrote:@SudoWhere do you stand, honestly? Suspicions, thoughts, something? I'd love a vote, but doubt we'll see that, so just give us something to work with? One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.-

The short answer: in the early game, I use my vote for info gathering. I'm not going to explain in detail ATM because that would kinda defeat the purpose but, if the scumz let us live through D3, you will see the fruits of my behavior. You are not on our scumlist but you are far from obv-town. If you'd like me to list the points against you, I can, but I'd prefer to just play fast and loose for now.Crazy wrote:Punkin, if I'm not in your top 6 scum reads, then why did you just vote for me?
You should get on it for a little while anyway. As should PZ. You know the method to my madness, Fate. The more likley you are to be culled early, the more helpful it is for you to sheep us.Fate wrote:This Crazy wagon is built on sand and full of horsecrap.
Do not like
FTR, we'd be fine switching our vote to NS if he had enough votes to be a viable alternative.-

I tend to agree.
What *is* the Crazy case? I don't seem to even recall one being proffered and I'm pretty sure Fate asked only a few pages back.-

First paragraph - Your votes hold no weight, because you put nothing behind them. I ask again - have you gained anything from them? Because it doesn't look like it. I want you to actually put something behind your vote.Crazy wrote:@AGar, my vote on you did serve a purpose as in letting people know where I stand as well as adding more weight to my questions towards you. What did you expect me to do, go all "OMG LYNCH LYNCH LYNCH??" I never had a case for lynching you; I just was suspicious of you so I voted you and questioned you. Is that wrong? Or would you prefer me to hold onto my vote until I'm ready for a lynch like Sudo is doing?
And you're really flip-flopping with your reasons of suspecting me. I mean, make up your mind, did I unvote DH because I was trying to save him from a lynch or did I unvote him because the wagon didn't have enough "traction?"
I'll ask you the same question I asked Oman, though - if Iwastown and thought DH was town, whatshouldI have done in that scenario?
Second - I fail to see how I was flip-flopping. I suspect you for a) a weak defense on trying to save DH and b) votehopping around aimlessly since then
Third - Provide a real defense, not "He's acting too damn weird."
As for your question in 323 - He needs to post more, but his post was enough to hold me over until he's off V/LA. I know where he stands, his opinions and his intentions.

As for my reasoning for why I thought DH was town, I posted it already.
As for my votes...Crazy wrote:If you want to know why I say DH is obvtown, here:
1. His weird "trap" thing reads more like ambitious town than opportunistic scum. Scum would normally find less controversial reasons to suspect someone, as well as be far less likely to openly put themselves in the spotlight that early.
2. An emotional outburst is indeed a town-tell. Town are more likely to get frustrated when they are wagoned than scum are. That doesn't mean you should do it, but it is still a town-tell.
3. While he was being tunneled, his focus was on pointing out scum.
4. And the clincher for me, he claimed VT after he already requested replacement, which would mean if he was scum he ruined any chance for his replacement to fake-claim a power role.
-Plum vote was RVS.
-DH vote was due to his minor scum-tell in his first post and just to start a wagon to get out of RVS.
-My vote on Sudo was mainly a place-holder because I didn't want to be on the DH wagon since I thought he was town, but I didn't want my vote to go to waste, so I voted Sudo, who looked the scummiest on first glance.
-My vote on you (AGar) was because you smelled fishy so I voted and questioned you to try to figure out more about your alignment. Right now I feel less strongly about you being scum; for now I have about a null read on you, give or take in either direction depending on how I'm feeling. I thought your original vote for DH worked on scum, but your responses to my questions have been pretty good... you're not really backpedaling/making lame excuses/contradicting yourself/etc. The "contradiction" I pointed out earlier was a mistake on my part.
-I voted NS in an attempt to figure him out too... still working on that. It was going to be him or Nikanor, and NS had posted more elsewhere on site.
There are two parts to town play, finding scum, and then lynching scum. I'm still working on the first part. I plan to "hop" my vote around a lot until I think I've found scum. I'm not looking for an easy lynch; if you'll note, I jumped off the DH wagonbeforeit crumbled, and I've been off the Sudo wagon for a while, and it's still fairly strong. If it seems I'm "aimless," then perhaps I am, because I'm not sold on a lynch target yet.-

I've been looking at some of Sudo's ISO's in some of his past games. (using Mafiascum Crawls to search.) There's nothing there that suggests this isn't his normal playstyle... the whole "comment on what he feels is worth commenting on," seems to fit more or less.
But I agree that his recent Nacho vote looks bad.
@Sudo - you said a while ago that DH did exhibit some town-tells, though you still found him suspicious. What were the town-tells that you noticed, and why did you still find him suspicious despite them?-

Ythill apparently <3s voting obscure targets D1 for nonapparent reasons.
That's his madness, and that's fine.
I don't sheep you, nor do I vote contributors D1.
That's my madness.Fate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

The same. Sucks eh? Mafia does that shit. You'd do it differently though, I'm sure. Perhaps with less bravado. I didn't like the way you jumped off it like it was the most obvious thing in the world, whenCrazy wrote:

As I said, I suspected Sudo was L-1, and it's not lynch time yet. This is actually the post:Thor665 wrote:@Oman - You've previously indicated them both Crazy and Sudo aare good lynches. @CrazyI've said your defense was weak. Your vote on Sudo is what sticks out most - you didn't want to waste your vote, so you just threw it around at who looked scummy at a glance... what? If you didn't want to waste your vote, why didn't you take the time to give things more than a glance? The reasoning also contradicts your whole "I'm voting semi-aimlessly to get reads!" when you admit to just throwing a vote onto a wagon.
What has your vote on Sudo told you about Sudo at all? Because that's major problem I have here - you're saying you're voting to apply pressure/gain reads/figure alignments out, but the only two votes you seem to have produced anything from are the ones on DH and myself, and even the vote on myself is a stretch because you're leaning null.
@CES/Thor/CyberbobWhy Sudo still?

Um...because up until just a few hours ago when two people unvoted while I wasn't around he was still the biggest wagon and I still find him scummy and want him lynched and was even trying to get Oman onto it? Besides, you're on a wagon with absentee Nikanor and chkflp - it can't beAGar wrote:@CES/Thor/CyberbobWhy Sudo still?thatstellar. Also, looking at the other big wagons we have Crazy (who I have a slight town read on) and Nacho who I have a town read on thanks to DH that he is totally not taking advantage of by being awesome and town ). I'm not getting behind either of those terrible things. I'd rather lynch Socio or policy lynch Zorblag or Nikanor than hop on them.
@Llama - Is the AGar case something more than his exactitude (pedanticness?) towards Crazy's gamestyle? Because that's pretty normal AGar play in my experience. It's also not that far distant from why I'm rampaging on Sudo (though at least Crazy chooses to tell his attacker to sod off rather than Sudo's soft sell 'ignore and hope it goes away' method) Also, he's clearly not unique in disliking Crazy's play - what's your read on the rest of the wagon and does that have anything to do with your AGar issues?
