That is an impossible request and you know it.
Why don't you try and give an argument for me being scum in order to convince others to vote me? I'm pretty sure that
you
, specifically, have already been asked to do it already.
Pine wrote:@Tajo: Ehhh. In LyLo, maybe. Otherwise, if I could afford to, I'd let them live a night or so to give the scum a shot at them and save us a mislynch. But I've seen some pretty damn convincing VT claims, and plain, simple "I'm a VT" isn't among them.
Would it have been somehow more convincing if I said I was a Citizen, full of revenge and wanting to kill scum?

Don't really see how claiming VT can really be more convincing or anything. :?

You seem not to have read this. Auto-lynching claimed VTs is stupid. ANY claim should make you review everything they've said in light of the claim, review the claim itself, and their last-ditch efforts.

A terrible fakeclaim. Pressured scum about to be lynched can fail at fakeclaiming, can execute it poorly, can claim an already existent power role, dont claim results, etc.

Not voting: Shattered Viewpoint, Slaxx

With 13 alive, it takes 7 to lynch. Deadline for Day 2 is 7 PM CST on 4/17/11.

Looking for a replacement for Shattered Viewpoint.

I have been told by at least one player that Furcolow's behavior in this game is in violation of Rule 1. I don't have time to actually read this game that I'm modding so I'm going to take others' word for it and issue a warning to him.

I haven't yet, per se. It's just that using a highly questionable meta that I don't agree with to achieve an objective that seems odd...I'm just confused by a gut-inspired shaking of my Town read.

You haven't addressed my concerns about ulterior motives.

Ugh. That's a pile of WIFOM if I've ever seen one.

Tajo. As a claimed VT with the posts King1216 has made, the chances of him drawing the night kill are virtually zero. To not lynch him today, you have to provide someone you're more certain will flip scum, because this is going to come up day after day.

Do you have someone who is MUCH more likely to flip scum in your opinion?

TL is town so lolno Tajo.

You can prove people as town, just not 100% of course. However, you can't prove Kingtown because it's impossible, like he says.

I didn't notice anyone breaking the rules.

Also, I'd have switched over to Furcolow only if he had claimed Vig. I had a lurking suspicion he was vig.

OK, after taking a much needed break from this game last night, I can now come back to this thread and say what I really want to say.

Why scum can (and should) fakeclaim VT

Scum should fakeclaim VT in certain cases because if they survive that days lynch the following things are true (a) the will very likely not be shot by vigs or SKs and (b) it takes much more effort to get a wagon going on someone that has already claimed.

This, I believe, is one of those occasions where a VT fakeclaim could be useful for scum. There are two other competing wagons, one who lurked his way through D1 and one who, for some reason I really don't understand, is the new trendy pick for a lynch.
Looking for a hydra partner. Must be someone I respect as a player and a person. PM me if you're interested.

Won't be shot by vigs, wha..?

A VT claim is perfect Vig fodder. The Vig shouldn't be playing god with PR claims imo, but offing a questionable VT is exactly what a Vig is for.

And it takes effort to get a wagon on ANY already previously claimed role, doesn't matter if it's VT. A claimed Doc living for several days could even be WIFOMed that he is being kept alive as mislynch fodder, and just being roleblocked or outplayed on his protections.

Hey everyone, I'm very aware the lynch mechanic means shorterned days so I'll try to get through an entire re-read today, if there's anything particular you want me to look out for upon re-reading state so now.
