I am convinced by the breadcrumb
Oso is still a null read to me though
NE is already my vote, so I'm cool with keeping it on him (for now at least)
I was slightly surprised when you claimed masons though. I had (wrongly)assumed all PRs were 1-shot by now :/1 Thessalonians 5:21: Test everything, but hold fast onto what is good

true
but I'll give klazam a pass for today
If one of them eventually flips scum then the other should be lynched too
but that doesn't matter if they truly are confirmed townies to each other :p1 Thessalonians 5:21: Test everything, but hold fast onto what is good

actually, I think it would be rather risky for scum to out themselves like this and double up
Klazam wasn't in a huge amount of danger of the lynch, so I'm unsure if Mafia would take this gambit so soon.
I don't know. I'll buy it until i see more evidence otherwise. Most of the reasoning behind a false gambit is wifom and relies on scum taking a huge risk1 Thessalonians 5:21: Test everything, but hold fast onto what is good

@Pro - First, this is a provable role. Once either of us die, the other is confirmed. The role you are talking about is neighbor. In the case of neighbors the mod usually explicitly or by omission tells the two that their alignment is not confirmed. In this case, the mod told us that we are both innocent. Second, I am claiming on day one with absolutely no pressure on myself. If I were scum, I would probably hop on the Klazham wagon to make myself look pro-town instead of putting a big bright spotlight on myself. Reread my play. I have consistently been against a Klazham lynch. Could I be scum gambiting wildly ON DAY ONE? Sure. But I challenge you to look at every game I have ever played (most are linked on the wiki) and see if I have ever done anything remotely close to claiming day one as scum. Thirdly, if I were scum, I would also be taking a huge chance at claiming Mason not knowing if masons exist in the game.
By the way, seems that "newb" thing comes and goes with you huh?
But your insistence on lynching Klazham is noted.-------------------------------------

indeed, with my theory of the one-shot theme, it would be rather risky for scum to claim masons in a game which we don't know masons exist
In fact, I've never had masons in any other mini normal game that I've been
I believe the claim; like Juls says, It's provavble1 Thessalonians 5:21: Test everything, but hold fast onto what is good

It's not impossible, but it would be ballsy. The game of mafia, to me, is less to do with probability and more to do with plausibility. You have to decide for yourself whether to believe us or not based not only by our claim but by our game play as well. So if you think its MORE likely that Klazham and I are scum than that we are actually masons then, by all means, continue to vote the way you are. It doesn't give us a free pass for the entire game by any means.-------------------------------------

IIRC, scum masons are prohibited in Normal gamesProsaurus wrote:May I point out thereisinfact a mason role which is scum.
Scum rarely ever fakeclaim mason, because a lot of things can go wrong (the most likely being a counterclaim, drawing an NK from an SK or another scumgroup, or even just getting lynched because the game went to LyLo with not a single scum lynch), and they'd be risking two lives if they get caught. Which is EXTREMELY risky in minis, where scumgroups have three lives at most. For these reasons, scum usually pick safer claims. Most likely Juls and Klazam are really masons.Prosaurus wrote:May I also popint out that scum can talk to each other, and put in a fake breadcrumb incase of a situation like this.Do you want your possessions identified?-

Well, the breadcrumbs are pretty convincing. Though as someone said, Juls was off a bit.
PS, scum masons are not allowed in normal games. Neighbors(unconfirmed town) are, but that's not what they claimed. Furthermore, to repeat what others have said, masons are incredibly risky for scum to claim. If one dies, the other is confirmed scum. I just can't see scum doing that. Anyway, I guess now I'll

First, I don't see why your read on me would weaken, and second, the bold part shouldn't matter to town at all. This is nudging me towards MW scum.Me=Weird wrote:Necessary evil is still a scum read, but more minor, and nobody else seems to think so.
I'm thinking the same thing. I don't see how having a gut town read on somebody means that MW didn't think that ender was town.Juls wrote:
Basically what I am getting from this is "my gut said he was town but everyone else thought he was scummy so I bandwagoned". I like my vote.Me=Weird wrote:Juls:
a. Ididn'tthink he was town. I've said already that I felt his scummy actions overweighed the gut town feel. All that happened was the claim changed that.
I don't see why Javert shot ender after his exchange with Twistedspoon. It looked to me like Javert was getting answers that would result in a scum read.
I dissaprove of the mod confirming that Javert was one-shot.
EA's case on Oso seems too thin to me this late in the game. I really need to examine it more carefully. I don't really have time for it now.
I've posted like this as scum before (but not with this account). This is desperation. He's being semi conciliatory while trying to defend. Strong scum read.Me=Weird wrote:Maxous, can you please consolidate why you think I'm scum into one post. Thanks.
I believe Juls mason claim. I've had a town read on her for a while and that would explain my odd feelings about Klazam. I'm really rolling my eyes at her vote on me, though. I've been V/LA for almost a week, which she is failing to take into account. If you check the other game I'm in, I posted that I was V/LA there, too, so I'm not making it up to lurk in this game. I think she's overestimating how often I should be posting because this is has been a very active game. I've certainly posted my fair share of content, IMO.
VOTE: Me=Weird
I have a strong scum read on MW now (as described earlier in this post). I would still be up for lynching TS, though, but that seems to be still off the table. I'm thinking that Prosaurus is probably town because I don't see why MW would push so hard to lynch his own partner. I need to examine EA's case on Oso more carefully which I will get to tomorrow. Those are my thoughts for now.
MOD: I don't think you need to prod ender because he is dead.-

It didn't weaken, I got stronger ones, which made it weaker comparatively. The bold part was regarding lynching you. Obviously I can't lynch you on my own.NE wrote:First, I don't see why your read on me would weaken, and second, the bold part shouldn't matter to town at all. This is nudging me towards MW scum.

I wanted why he thought I was scum into one post because I wanted to make sure there weren't things I hadn't responded to. Why do you want to lynch TS? Do you disbelieve his claim? Why? And do you know how exceedingly dumb and moronic it is to use connections before there's been a scum flip? Hmm if Juls and Klazam are mafia together that would be a very bold move on Day 1. As mafia it would of been more pratical to allow Klazam to be lynched and keep hidden (IMO). I'll take the claim at face value.
Well this removes Klazam from being my alternate lynch(if I did'nt state that I meant to, can't remember).
Having a quick look at the vote count the other options are Oso and Neccessary Evil. I think Oso is town. NE.. null.
I will support a lynch on NE before Oso but I would much prefer a M=W lynch.
Unless somebody wants to quickly propose a different candidate for the lynch?"And before anyone bitches about me highlighting PoD's 437 when I replaced in and called everyone on my wagon communists, I remind you that communism is not alignment-indicative" - Belisarius

Scum masons aren't allowed in normal games (edit-like everyone else has said ). They could both theoretically be scum lying though, but I don't believe that is the case.Prosaurus wrote:May I point out thereisinfact a mason role which is scum.
May I also popint out that scum can talk to each other, and put in a fake breadcrumb incase of a situation like this.
Something is going on though: 2 one-shot cops + 2 masons + 1 shot day vig equals a hell of a lot of town power. Hell, with the cops and the masons that could be 6 confirmed innocents on day 2. That would be pretty much game breaking. Twisted can plausibly be town is scum group have GF and RB. But if both cops and the mason claims are all town, then Javert is looking an awful lot like a scum 1 shot vig to counter all the confirmed innos.
