Mist7676: I think you did well in general but you slipped a few times. Actually, in contrary to jasonT1981, I didn’t find it suspicious that you asked permission to hammer… in the end, it was your sudden resignation to defend yourself that made me suspect you more – just like with Kcdaspot on Day 2. Resignation isn’t necessarily scummy but it shows well that you ran out of arguments. As stupid as it may sound but my suggestion would be: play as you were a townie. Look for clues against the real townies and build cases against them, put pressure on them as you see fit (without exaggerating) but don’t falter when put under pressure yourself. Stay sensible, keep discussing, state your arguments, pursue trails, hunt scum. Of course you have to build up your town reputation from the beginning, turning around on L-1 won’t suddenly save you.
But in time you’ll manage to blend in.
By the way, I’m quite impressed how you did despite your young age (no offence!). I think I would have played a
lot
more insensibly and impulsively than you at that age…
dysorder: Well-built case against Mist7676! I think it built up my confidence against her quite a bit.
inspiratieloos: How did you manage to look so townie so early? Actually at one point I felt that so-townie-he-must-be-scum feeling but my mind screamed WIFOM, that saved you.
Don’t worry about your gut feeling being wrong, I remember that my first games were quite similar in this regard. Your gut will adjust.
GMan and Nachomamma8: You were the real ICs here, I bow down before you.
Kcdaspot: As you probably noticed, your bandwagon on Hazard with a Glove was the beginning of the end. Why did you pursue it so eagerly?

You did a good job for town after all. I thought that Day 3 could have lasted longer had Mist7676 defended herself properly. I interpreted your vote urge as some scum indication; that’s why I included the last paragraph in my hammer post as a ground to base suspicions on had Mist7676 flipped town and I had been NK’ed.
