TS is town for putting his heart and soul into lynching Meran day .5 then never pointing back to that fact once he came under fire. He's also town for telling me that I need to explain more reads because Meransiel was an easy target even though he was scum. Scum, if bussing, like to take credit for it. TS has shown beautiful town modesty, and I will not let him get lynched because of it. Also, the whole dismissal of Hiraki was pretty damn townie.

Tell me, what do you make of the fact that he has yet to ask for my reasons for finding him scummy?

He was prodded once on 4/17. I've been more lenient regarding prods because of how darned hard it's been to find replacements...hopefully that won't be an issue going forward.

I would prefer a Nacho lynch over a meran lynch. I don't see how meran is being all that scummy (and I think he's kinda new) but Nacho is being very actively anti-town, and should die.

I really think Meransiel is scummier than Apok, but they both look quite dubious.

Note that Apok really goes after Meran but Meran only mentions her ONCE. She's been here a couple of years; he's new and that may be why.

You've been the fastest replacement. I've a firm believer that it's better to lynch an anti-town player (i.e. Hero) and get another flip (especially with two lynches a day) while you can still afford it, than lynch someone who can give you more information later in the day, and whom I don't necessarily think is that scummy (i.e. Silver). Lynching your slot would've helped the game progress if the replacement (you) was going to take as long as it had taken other players.

But you seem to care, so...

Also policy lynches are very good things. If more people liked to policy lynch, games would be better for everyone.

You do realize that most people who always are yelling are people very few people like to play with correct?

Doing so makes everyone not have a fun time, and this is a game, which by definition is fun.

Hold on a second.

"Casual" has come to have two meanings - one being a synonym of "leisurely"; the other being the opposite of "competitive". Mafia is not either of these.

Mafia is not a game you can pick up and play. You need to stay focused on it until you're removed from the game. If you decide you don't want to play midway through, your options range from getting lynched to getting replaced to even getting modkilled. All of these are instances of you letting your team down, and rest assured everyone else playing doesn't appreciate it. Many people have tried to recover from burnout phases with a "nice easy game of Mafia" and found that it didn't work out.

The bottom line is, Mafia is not for everyone. It's nothing personal if you don't like what you just read, but everyone will probably be happier if you stayed on the sidelines.

This surmises my point. This ain't a leisurely game.

Interestingly enough, I have LOTS of people who like playing with me. ^-^ Sorry if I don't suit your tastes.

Further more, wouldn't that be playing against a win condition? I mean, if you thought I was scum, that would be fine.

But voting me based on being... me. That's kind of against your win con for the town.

And surprisingly enough, less people will want to play with those who will throw away their win-con, than will want to play with those who are passionate about a game.
