Here's an idea: wait for Locke Lamora to catch up before you consider hammering. That said, seeing as deadline is in less than a week, hopefully Locke Lamora will do that fairly soon.

Here's my problem. TS's claim comes after Jav's claim (the one shot isn't there but again one shot day vig is pretty normal) and right as ender starts to claim.
I also have a hard time believing in 2 one shot cops. I never have seen it and unless scum have a RB and GF or some power roles to off set that I have more trouble believing it.
He now has a guilty on NE (who he suspected most of day 1). Framer for scum? It's possible but I don't like TS's actions. Dup brings up a possible bus.
I could see this as TS trying to earn town cred by bussing his scum buddy. Then having to explain why he is still alive as the days go on put him into a trap. I don't know I would think TS scum would be smart enough to get an innocent on another player then bussing and leaving no outs.
It just doesn't make sense.
Call me paranoid in small part to a current game.

Welcome LL you would know what game that is in reference to.
Sarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.

The group at the table eye each other, ideas running through each mind individually. The silence however wasn't calming, it was damning. Damning one person in particular.

"You've hurt our king!" one of them claimed! "I saw it in your room!"

"You liar! You hurt our king! I'm innocent!"

The one who made the accusation drew his sword, while the accused drew his sword. Both men stared at each other, and suddenly the dual began. The others stood up quickly to get out of the way, fighting for most of the dual to see who they believed. As the two men fought, inevitably the accuser had the upper hand as the others slowly but surely swayed his way, and drawing their own swords the accused didn't stand a chance. A slice here, a dice here, and mixed meat he became. As the accused fell to the ground in defeat, the others quickly grabbed hold of him who now has no strength left to fight, and strung him up... hanging him to his own defeat. The others quickly ran into his room.

Surely enough, they found a vial of poison on his dresser and a letter that he hasn't finished writing, that was addressed to the Knights of the Roundtable, telling them the dark knights are here to stay. The group rejoiced in knowing they caught the person that may have killed the king! But the sudden realization dawned on them, did he have help? He must have, one knight couldn't have done it alone. But how many? And who? The knights went back to their room, the haunting suspicions still rising around them... they'll see in the morning.

What a sad morning it was when everyone appeared to the table except one.

They searched his room and found out that Javert was laying in his bed, his head separated from his body. It was such a simple death, but not a good one for the townsmen at all.

Javert,
One-Shot Day Vigilante
was
Beheaded
Night 2.

Day has begun, and the thread unlocked.
Deadline
for Day 3 is
9:00 PM EST 05/16/11.

Cool! First scum lynch I've ever seen.

A few things to look at:
Anything special about the timing of the self hammer?
... Dammit. I had a good list of things to look at, I should have written it down. I will post if I remember any of them.

I doubt it. If they're both scum, NE would probably say that in the scum QT.
Unless he's trying to shut up town, in which case why vote?

You say NE may have self hammered to shut farside up, then you voted farside, implying you think farside is scum.
If NE wanted to shut farside up, he'd post "Shut up!" in the scum quick topic, not self hammer to end the day.

Alright re-reading day 2, double-checking my initial reads and so-forth.

@Quilford: NE could of self-hammered for the simple reason of he saw no way out and just wanted to end it all.
But yes ,he could of also self-hammered to avoid putting any of his buddies in danger.
Point is, I don'y think that would be a sufficent reason to suspect Farside.
P-Edit: That latest reason is more plausible

Hmm not sure what to make of that Prosaurus comment.

@Farside: Putting what together?
