But if it's winning that matters, nvm. >.< He got NK'ed and we failed as a town in the game that's already finished.

I agree with Baltar. Having actually judged scummies before, I had to deal with a barrel of work (that resulted in me taking a six month break from MS). Reading the nominations helps focus the judge on what to look for. The "negative nomination" is a fine line to walk, of course. Once it starts getting nasty, the point of the scummies is defeated. But as a devil's advocate kind of thing, I found people disagreeing with a nomination to be helpful as a judge.

Pfft. Judging's easy. I did it two years in a row and pretty much completed every award in less than a day.

But Zor is right. Some awards take SOOOOOOO much reading. >.<

It's why I protested the Best IC award this year at the Scummies.

Their entire play was excellent, but CORRECTLY pegging the town cop then instigating the cop into investigating them as the MAFIA GODFATHER then finishing the game as confirmed town was just insanely good.

Somehow this was overlooked in the nominations

I thought it had been nominated because so many people mentioned that that play deserved it.

Nah. Nhamman was (to be frank) horrible, and so was Hoppster. Pine was at best alright. If it wasn't for THB, it would have been apathetic scummy lurking scumteam versus apathetic scummy lurking town, but he managed to kick the town in exactly the wrong direction at all the critical moments.
